When I put it on, I decided to test it's "waterproof" by pouring water on it. Yes. Actual water out of a bottle, right on the cover. I was wary of doing so. However, it all turned out just fine, as the only wetness stayed on top of the mattress protector. It did not go through, my mattress was not wet. When I went to bed, I was a little worried it might be crinkly or noisy, as other customers had reported to another brand. It didn't *feel* that way. Thankfully my worry abated as soon as I crawled into bed. I couldn't tell at all! And I haven't noticed it on other nights either. I am definitely happy with this purchase so far.Nice protector! Does just what I needed. Deep pockets for the thicker mattresses, and it stays on well. I really like this product. Reasonably priced, too. I would definitely recommend this product to others and intend to buy another one.

I ordered this based on the Title/Description saying '100% Bed Bug Proof Mattress Cover'. The pictures on Amazon also show packaging saying the same thing. When the product arrived, there was no mention of 'Bed Bugs' on the packaging. It only says it protects against dust mites, which are NOT the same thing. This product title/description is MISLEADING!!!!

I was disappointed that the retail packaging does not mention protection from bed bugs. For that reason I would not recommend using this encasement if you know you have bedbugs. I am very paranoid about them so I ordered this to encased a brand new mattress just in case it had somehow been contaminated with bed bugs or eggs in the factory. Hopefully just an abundance of caution because this might not actually stop bed bugs from coming through the zipper.Otherwise it’s good. Easy to put on the mattress and easy to zip. I keep a foam topper and fitted sheet over it so I don’t plan to remove and wash this cover for at least 18 months just in case.

I like this mattress pad it’s soft and it does not feel slippery when sheet is on, I definitely will recommend it.

Item was delivered super quick. No issues upon opening but still gave it the initial cleaning. Make sure you unzip it before washing because it fills the inside a bit with water. I wish it fit more snug to my mattress. This is for a 10" Allswell hybrid. Otherwise this is a great case.

I was afraid to buy a bed in a box after reading so many negative reviews..I read every brand review out there but wasnt giving up. I finally decided to give it a shot. After months of searching I ordered and I LOVE IT! IGNORE THE HORROR STORIES AND TAKE THE CHANCE! NO SMELL AT ALL, FULLY INFLATED TO 9 INCHES , NO MOLD, NO NASTY BUGS! Just do it!

Just recently bought this, it arrived today and I spent about an half an hour to an hour putting it on, but that's only because I was doing it alone and had difficulty moving my queen mattress by myself.Once it was on my bed and everything was back in its place, I poured water in one area near the zipper, waited for a minute, then unzipped and checked the spot.It was dry!Except for one spot, where the seam is.However, I'm happy with this, as I just recently got a puppy, and I think it's going to help with the clean up if he has any accidents on my bed.I'll update in a few months about the durability of the mattress encasement.

Okay, I admit it took a bit for me to wrestle it onto the 10"-thick mattress by myself, but after a lot of grunting and a few bad words, I got it on the right way, and the rest was a snap. The cover itself is thick, smooth, beautifully made, and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this for that extra layer of protection, especially if you have a new mattress. I have a dog who likes to fall asleep on the bed and who tends to drool in her sleep, and I sometimes have a cup of tea at night that I could possibly spill, so having this cover under the fitted sheet is a nice extra layer of confidence.
