Purchased this for my forthcoming ladakh trip in june 2020 anticipating some small river crossings and sludge in june. I then checked a few others on amazon and thought to give this a tryIt came in neatly packed in a drawstring waterproof bag which can prove helpful for storing other items during a ladakh trip and not these covers since covers are waterproof anyways so this is like an extra gift. I opened to try it and it has large velcro closures across the length and width of the cover which is a bit inconvenient to put on and took me some time but it makes up by giving better looks since the velcro can be adjusted to match the shape of your foot. If you buy the ones sold online with a zipper closure, it will look baggy but these ones wont which you can see in the images - on a black jeans it looks like its not there at all. Here are the pros and consPros1. Longer length almost till the knee which can help a lot when its not raining but there is sludge on the road or while watercrossing as you wont need to put on rain pants just for it2. Material is not too thin or too thick but looks completely waterproof and windproof and high quality - can only tell for sure when tried in real conditions but apparently this brand claims to have made it for himalayan adventure so i dont think they would do a terrible job with the basics of waterproofing3. Large velcro closures giving you the fit you need4. comfortable as it doesnt cover the whole foot like RE and some other covers which are like a thin boot in itself and wont help during longer rides and would also wear out earlyCons1. A bit expensive2. A bit inconvenient to put onOverall happy first impressions

I purchased this product just before leaving for my 7 day solo ride to Delhi-Kaza-Kishtwar-Delhi. The product disappointed me on the 1st day itself. The middle strap underneath the sole ripped off even before I reached Amabala (200 kms)and by the time I reached shimla i was left without front and middle straps gone so I had to used duct tape each morning so that I can keep using it further. As long as waterproofing is concerned these are water resistant at best not water resistant at the feet atleast. at legs it did same my riding pants. So If you are looking to protect your shoes through the rides I would ask you not to expect too much from the product.

It is a great shoe protector when you are on a bike ride, specially during the rainy season, and value for money also.
