I just got this today, my very first loaf of bread ever is baking right now and I was really looking forward to this. First of all, I had to force the one side in because the space between the bottom rails on one side was way narrower at one end than the other. I took a hammer and forced it in - first problem solved, now they fit. But I now see that in order to have all the slices the same, one has to pull the loaf back, remove the slice just cut, push the loaf back and cut the next slice. This operation will have be performed with each and every slice or the slices will get progressively smaller or larger with each cut. I thought this would have a slide that you could adjust all of them at once and lock the slice size down once you were at the desired size and did not realize that each one was a set width. It is good that it folds down but having to keep sliding it in and out is likely to tear up the bottom some not to mention I don't care to handle the sides repeatedly either. You really can't use it as the picture shows and expect to have all your slices the same width! One of the pieces broke on first use but I have discovered the pieces make nice trivets for hot dishes and pans anyway. As for the seller, no complaints at all, they shipped very promptly, packaged well and followed up after delivery. Would assume other items they have available are better quality and this was just a nice idea that didn't pan out... the seller has been very good about it and has made it right though so I stand by my comment that it was only a defective product and the not an issue with the seller.

1. Flimsy. A spacer broke off during the initial set-up.2. The description is incorrect in stating that the narrowest spacer is 1/4 inch; it is closer to 3/8 inch.3. The pictures are misleading. As noted in a previous review the bottom of the bread loaf sits down in the box about an inch below the spacers so it cannot be sliced.

What a great quality product!! This was packaged very well and everything arrived safe. Very easy to assemble and can be stored in itself for compact storage when not in use. Very happy with this product!

Love how adjustable it is. keeps my slices uniform.Also it’s great for saving space because it fold for storage and leavesNo bread crumbs on my counter.

We have only used it once. I only gave it a 3 star. I think we are going to like it once we use it more often to get used to it. So far only complaint was there was a nail sticking and we had to fix that so not to cut ourselves.

I found this product to be very unstable when trying to slice bread. I had to try holding the sides together as I was trying to slice the bread. It was impossible to slice down to the bottom crust. I had to take the very crookedly sliced bread out of the bread slicer to cut the bottom crust.

Simple but effective design. It was easy to set up and use. For the first time, I now am slicing my home made bread as a pro!

I really like this product. It does a good job and I enjoy using it.
