No more embarrassing snow flakes!

I was a bit skeptical before ordering this line of products but after reading one particular review of someone that described a scalp issue that was similar to mine I decided to give it a try. My first time using it I didn't notice an immediate difference, my scalp was still slightly dry especially around the edges. I oiled my scalp with the daily cream to see if that would help. The oil did help with the dry scalp but you have to use it sparingly, if you use too much it will dry with a white residue. The directions say to use the oil 1 to 4 times daily but I have never used it more than a time or two and I definitely wasn't using it every day. After using this line two times I absolutely have a more healthier scalp with a normal itch compared to a very dry and inflamed scalp with intense itching. I am so excited that I decided to give this line a try, it is by far the only product that has helped me with my horrible scalp issues. I bought the shampoo, the regular and deep conditioners, the daily moisture scalp cream and the instant soothe elixir from this line. I haven't had to use the elixir yet because my scalp barely itches in between washes. Give it a try if you desire to have a healthy, moisturized and itch free scalp.

I am extremely fair and have bleach-blonde hair that has endured years of bleaching, heated hair tools, and other torture. In the winter, my scalp becomes excessively dry and itches like nothing I have ever experienced and it flakes off. I also use a gob of hairspray almost everyday. I was using some other brands of shampoo for color-treated hair but they just kept making my situation worse. I decided to give the Head and Shoulders a try because honestly the phrase "royal oils" seemed just like what I needed. First of all, the scent is heavenly. If you like the smell of coconut and can picture yourself basking under the warm sun while breezes blow by, you will love this. Second, the lather is very thick and meaningful which I love. My hair air-dried and it seemed the shampoo put the natural wave back in my hair, made it very soft, and accentuated the color beautifully. It was super easy to comb and the itching has stopped. I was floored over the price and the value. I was not able to find this product in stores.

VERY LONG REVIEW. I will update this as needed. This is almost 24 hours after my wash day, btw.I want to start this off by saying I specifically ordered the "old version," because I've seen reviews saying the formula changed (the addition of apple cider vinegar) and the product doesn't work for them as well anymore. If you're going to send the "new" version anyway, no matter what we decide, then the option shouldn't be there.**With that being said, my first impression of the bundle (shampoo, conditioner, scalp cream) is… it did what it needed to do - for the initial wash.The shampoo and conditioner did their job. But to be fair, my scalp very rarely feels dirty after a wash. It happens, but not too often. I will say the shampoo didn't feel stripping so the name of it being moisturizing is true.While I was waiting for my hair to air dry, my scalp did feel like a very slight breeze was on it. Love that.**The Scalp Cream & Spritz/SprayI have the "old" version's scalp spritz/spray from last year and used that as well. I have used this twice before this particular wash day. Once, when I first got it and just recently this month (of April 2022). I actually said out loud, "This is spicy as hell!" It feels good on the scalp. Very "minty."My scalp gets so dry that it can feel painful sometimes. Years ago, to avoid scalp itchiness and flakes, I learned not to put oils or leave-in products on my scalp (or anything really other than scalpicin or some other clear medicated liquid) but I did away with this rule for this product - the scalp cream. I will say this helped with the dry, tightness of my scalp since I can't use oils.**My scalp issues and my dermatologist recommendations: (added for those who have scalp problems but this can be ignored.. also, I'm not saying this will work for you).I have been self- diagnosing myself with dermatitis for years. And finally, went to the dermatologist in April 2022. He confirmed that I do have dermatitis.I was prescribed betamethasone dipropionate. It's called a lotion, but it's actually liquid. I was actually worried when he said that, because I thought it was going to be like calamine lotion. It has worked for me. I have gone days without having "scalp crumbs" since the beginning of this year (when I started to really put effort into my dermatitis care.)He recommended this specific Head & Shoulders line (Royal Oils) because I am African American. Along with Head & Shoulders Clinical Solutions - I ordered it online, but it's tough to find in stores for a single item.

I have been searching for the right shampoo and conditioner for months now and I have finally found something that works!!! I was trying expensive and cheap combos with no luck, getting itchy scalp and frizz like no other. My sis uses head and shoulders all the time for her thick long hair so I started doing some research and found this! i had no idea they had so many varieties now......... so I figured i'd try this one since it said moisture. After two days no more itchy scalp and minimal frizz. now two weeks in my hair is healthy and manageable. My hair is naturally curly, but i occasionally straighten it. Wow what a difference this time! the pic is minimal product, only a heat shield spray. nothing else! it came out smooth and soft!!!!! I will continue to use this everyday!!

Truth be told, I didn’t have huge flaky dandruff. Mine was more “salt-like”. But having to wear black every day for work, it became more noticeable over the past year or so. I always used regular Head and Shoulders every other day to keep the flakes away and never had any problem. But it was just getting worse. My mom has really bad psoriasis on her back and she bought this just to help with her scalp and noticed her psoriasis breakouts on her back were starting to fade. Now I’m not saying to use this on your body, but she has always had a hard time controlling her breakouts and was surprised to see what it was doing for her back, just by allowing the shampoo to rinse off her hair and fall onto her back. Needless to say she recommended it for my flakes and I now have this on automatic ordering through Amazon. It is the only place I can find it. Very satisfied.
