I'm a blacksmith and I am looking for a pare of gloves that don't melt under the intense heat of my bitimus coal forge would these gloves work for me?

I want to cook with a pan on a campfire, would I get burned if I had on these gloves on and grabbed the pan?

Would these provide better heat protection than the leather gloves sold for use with dutch ovens?
