Best yet!
Superb game, clearly outpaces the others. I couldn't wait to try the classics content, the cars are a nightmare to handle but you get the hang of it, Brands Hatch is so easy, yet provides true combative racing as cars can run together across the whole lap, Jerez the home of winter testing is anti- clockwise so can be slightly difficult, a true drivers track with an odd left cornered chicane that can catch you out quite easily! As for the nineties content I have only got the cars for it, the scream of the V10's is annoying but the cars aren't that different to handle then the modern ones (I'm quite partial to the Damon Hill Tital winning Williams). The modern cars due to the Pirelli tyres wear quite easily, and the fuel can run out before the finish if you are not careful, which brings you closer to being an actual F1 driver, the braking and turning abilities are 1000000% better than 2012, as I had to resort to auto-braking on that game, now on this one I can go back to my Kobayashi style driving. The graphics (if you have a good TV) are brilliant, but the let down is that the after race scenes are the same and is a far cry from the 2010 drivers conference style after race scene, where you could actually see the other drivers faces! Another good addition is the scenario modes for normal and classic, replacing champions mode, these are longer and incorporate different events a driver will have to face in their career.Overall a nice step up from the occasionally drab 2012 game.P.S The Australian grand prix is always a right mash up at the start of a season, be it retirements or driver clashes, as the AI now like to fight you and other AI for position!!!

Some of the features I've tried so far are very impressive.
Before I start this review, I need to say that I have only used "time trial" mode in Codemaster F1 simulation software, I have never tried any racing. So my comments only relate to the "time trial" mode. The main reason I have just bought F1 2013 is because it has a unique extra feature, which is the inclusion of five 1980 F1 cars (two normally aspirated car and three turbo cars), and two extra tracks for them to run on (Brands Hatch and Jerez). The 1980 cars can also be run on the current tracks, and the 2013 cars can be run on the extra 1980 tracks (the 1980 cars and 2013 cars can't be raced together). Also, as I have an Xbox 360, so I can't buy F1 2015 as the only Xbox version is for the Xbox One.I read all the Amazon reviews for F1 2013 before I bought it, and most of them were very positive. I already have F1 2010 (bought in 2010) which I think is superb. I also bought F1 2011 (back in 2011), but was very disappointed with it as it was severely dumbed-down compared with the original from 2010 (F1 2011 allows too much corner cutting and has a lot more chassis roll in corners, which seems to be impossible to fully control). The reason I bought F1 2011 back then was because it had some extra tracks, and because 2011 was the first year for DRS ("drag reduction system" which gives the ability to reduce the upper rear wing angle on the straights), and KERS ("kinetic energy recovery system" which recovers energy from rear wheel braking). Both systems are still used on F1 cars.Regarding my current purchase of F1 2013, I have been "driving" a 1980 Williams FW07 with a normally aspirated engine, a Cosworth DFV. The torque spread from the DFV compared with modern F1 cars is phenomenal. The real Williams FW07 was a ground-effect car (using under-body wings and side-skirts). It copied features from Lotus 78 and 79 ground-effect cars which pioneered the side-skirt system in F1 (ground-effect cars were banned by new regulations in 1983 as there were some severe accidents when the side-skirts failed). If the Codemaster simulation is accurate, then the down-force is comparable to that on current F1 cars. The FW07 is very fast, very interesting to drive and very enjoyable. It has a raw feel and controllability that modern cars seem to lack. Driving around Brands hatch using "cockpit view" takes some getting used to, but is exhilarating!Alan Jones won the real 1980 GP in the Williams FW07 at Brands Hatch. It's a fantastic circuit to "drive" round, and I've managed to get below the current (real) lap record set by Nigel Mansell in 1986 in a Williams FW11-Honda turbo. I suspect that the Codemaster 1980 Williams FW07 uses the 2013 tyre model, otherwise breaking the 1986 turbo lap record would be impossible.Another really good feature of the DVD is that it includes onboard video footage of Anthony Davidson driving a lap of each circuit, with his very helpful commentaries.I have tried some of the 2013 cars and it does now seem easily possible to control body roll (as with F1 2010). The cars' chassis handling seems similar to F1 2010, which I am happy with. One feature I have big problems with is that (unlike with 2010), if the cars are driven using "cockpit view", the rear view mirrors obscure the position of the corner apex relative to the tyre. In other words, the view of the "corner clipping" is obscured, which is crazy! This may not be Codemasters' fault if the mirrors on the real cars do partially obscure the tyres from driver vision, but I find that hard to believe.

F1 2013 (xbox360)
.The F1 2013 (xbox360) is a lot more fun with the addition of the classic cars . The classic cars slide around a lot more than the modern cars which makes it a lot more realistic to play. The graphics are same as 2012 but this is expected as must be hard making changes to a game based on real life motor sport. Don't get me wrong its still a fun game to play especially if your like me and follow F1.10/10

Improvements from 2012 but some negatives
The game is much better than last year's edition, the biggest advantage being that the penalty system can be disabled. However, there is no option to adjust the engine / fuel consumption, and there is no tyre wear, despite this being present on some of them. Upon contacting codemasters, they lied and were not particularly helpful, so I am stuck with a seeming incomplete version of the game.

Would give More but didnt work
I would give this game 3 star if the game actually worked. When i put the game in my console it loaded up to a loading and then crashed my xbox 360 i then tried it on another xbox 360 same thing a loading screen then crashed the dreaded black screen and froze both xboxes. i like this series and have played this one along time ago and wanted to play it again was excited to play this game again and was upset i could'nt play this good game.
