Lion Royal Dog Tag Clip, Easy Change Pet ID Tag Holder for Dogs & Pets Collars and Harnesses.

I have 3 Pomeranians. Somehow in the last 6 years with the one and 2 years with the others they have built up tags on their collars. One is for county license, another is for rabies, another is just their name and my contact info, another is with PetAssure so if they run off and are found they will be contacted and they can find me (I do have my dogs chipped and the county license tag does the same thing. TRIPLE COVERAGE YAY!) and they have Tile locator, so again, if they run off I can find them quickly with my phone if they are within range. So I had all of these tags on their collars with several different loops. Ugh. PetSmart and Petco make an easy tag consolidator/quick remove clip but they are sooo tiny. I don't even know what I was looking for exactly but I came across these and was SOLD right away. First, because they were a pack of 4 (I have the 4th on my own key ring for my post office box key) Second, they come with several different loop sizes and third, cuz it is also an easy removal from the collar if needed but it's heavy duty enough that it won't break or come unclipped. So glad I found these. Highly recommended for dogs of any size.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The material: I feel it is made with actual metal because it is heavier than you would think, I do think this will be extremely durable as well.The rings: the pack all together come with 6 rings, 2 big, 2 medium, and 2 small. They are better than the kind of rings you would get on a keychain. But depending the way you use it they might be to big. I’m using this to hold my dogs rabies tag and I did just use the ring the tag came with because it was a lot smaller. I measured next to a quarter and the medium size matched up the quarter size. Now although I said they were to big for the reason I was going to use them for I am going to be changing the rings on my keychain to these because they are very sturdy.The clip: I thought the part of the clip that opened would be really flimsy but it isn’t you do have to use some force to push open the clip. Also I do want to say the only thing I had a problem with which is the reason only reason I took off a star was because I have a 2in tactical collar on my gsd and the ring is a bit bigger than normal collars, I had to use pliers to pry the clip opening part around the ring. So the the clip would shut. So anybody with tactical collars please beware of this. All that meant was that the ring was in the way of the clip opener so that it wouldn’t close and I had to stick something behind the opener and push to get it to shut but now it is freely on the clip.Overall: I recommend this product to everyone who needs it. It is a great product and I will buy again if I need to. I do also want to let everyone know I did just get this so I can’t tell you if it has lasted or not but I can say I think it will.

I wanted these so I could more easily switch out my dog's collars, which I change seasonally. I'm glad I ordered this product! What I received was two clips, each with three differently sized rings, nice and heavy ones -- not the cheap, thin wire that often comes with dog tags. I used the medium-sized one for the clip, which is perfect for three tags (all metal) on my German Shepherd's collar. Both sets came in separate small bags. The mailer they came in was more than sufficient. I'm pleased with this purchase.

I resisted paying for these initially and gerryrigged some other tag holders, but they would break and I would lose the tags. So my dog needed something better. I bought a big pack of these and wish I did it earlier. Frustration free and easy to use. It also looks great and I have no had a tag get lost year. It is very sturdy out on highs and prancing through the yard. No issues with rust or mud. Great purchase!

I bought these for my dogs tags. They have many harnesses and we switch alot. These are quick and easy to use and they are very hand little clips. Well made with what seems to be quality metal stock. I keep one in my purse, in my car and shed, never know when you might need one.

What I love about these is it’s perfect for my little fella (yorkie) I can clip them easily onto whatever harness I decide to change him into. It’s proven to be sturdy enough for him. Just don’t accidentally clip your leash onto it because if you do it will pull the clip part loose and you’ll loose your tags. Not so sure on a larger dog how these would be I’d say ok. But for a small dog they are perfect. 👍

After several months of use, the lever that is the "clip" that holds the device to the collar hook, apparently broke or came loose or something, as it came off the collar hook and all of my puppy's tags disappeared. (name, rabies, license). She is always on leash when outside of a fenced area and it was easy to clip the tag holder instead, or with, the harness and collar hooks which had caused it to come off one previous time. This might be what happened this time--we have another area to search so I hope we find it.

I wanted to give a review after having these for one year. I picked up my dog today from the groomer. When I went to put on her collar, I saw that this clip that had her tags on it was gone. This held her ID tag and rabies tag. I went and walked around my large backyard and, thankfully, I found them at the last place I looked. The moving part of the hook had broken off. Sure would have liked to get more than one year of use out of them for the price.
