For the 31 years I have known her, my wife has always struggled with body image and acceptance of her body as it is vs. how others demand it should be. This piece is a simple, nonverbal way to remind her to see herself as being an amazingly beautiful individual, a work of art in and of herself. Of the two items I bought in this genre, I particularly like the Art Deco feel this has which highlights, to me, her artistic beauty.

I loved the statue! The box it came it seemed light but once I held the statue it turned out to be pretty weighty. I plan to display it on my desk!

arrived in time and the object is just as advertised ... excellent reproduction of a really ancient Venus in "modern" abstract art style ... I guess we didn't invent abstract after all!!! This is pretty stunning; Modigliani, Picasso and other 20th century artists would have drooled over it.
