Sealed very well
They sealed in very well from the legs openings and waist. I had prostate surgery, so I was still recuperating my urine leakage. Not much but still leaked a little. I enjoyed swimming at the pool before my surgery, so I was discouraged about leaking in the water. It was during the pandemic, so access to the public pools was very restrictive. Well, I wore depends under the shorts as a precaution. I didn't know the pads have gel. I adjust the shorts in the water by opening waste band, so water had entered. Big mistake! The pads expanded the gel inserts so there was big bulges protruding from the shorts! HAhaha! It looked like a took a dump on my back of my shorts and I had a big bulge at the front! I suggest wearing briefs with the a frontal urine incontinence pad.

Great quality
These swim short are by far the best looking and very durable swim shorts for my son who is wheelchair bound. It really holds well the elastic bands around the thighs are solid grip.We put on a swim pull-up diaper then the swim shorts for extra protection in his case but it really doesn’t need a diaper.

Not exactly what I expected
I thought there would be some sort of inner lining, but it is just a neoprene jammer-style swimsuit. It doesn't stain, but it has the same issues that all other bowel incontinence suits have. (1) water gets in at the small of the back, so it's not water tight at the waist; (2) when you get out of the water and bend over to dry your feet, it starts to leak at the legs. Not sure how to resolve these issues.

Not true to size.
These suits are about one size to small.

Worked great until they didn’t
They worked great for about the first month or so. Medium fit good on my 16 yo son with special needs who is 5’3” 115 lbs. We swim and hot tub daily. Started stretching out and wearing out. Lost elastic in the waist and got loose but legs stayed good. Lasted about half the summer. Would buy again for occasional use but not meant for daily purpose.
