Good saw, plenty of power when cutting large section timber.
I bought this saw to cut down some 4 inch thick well seasoned oak. The saw cut through the oak with ease and left a nice clean face which only needs a light pass through the planer to give a good finished face. The saw has plenty of power to cut the oak at this thickness but can kick back quite violently if the timber pinches the blade when cutting. Overall this is a good saw for cutting thicker timber, although it is quite heavy which is to be expected of a saw this size.

someone call the post Busters they got a crazy saw on the loose. great for decks and timber frame construction. not for the faint of heart fir it is heavy but not as heavy as i expected. solid, durable, dependable
