9" Max Microwave Flower Press Kit

The Microfleur Microwave craft flower preservation press is a must have! This product comes in different sizes and is perfect for most flowers, greenery and leaves. Super durable product that is fun to create dried masterpieces! The Microfleur is easy to use, you place the desired flower in between the fabric sheets and the felt sheets, then you put on the plastic outside pieces and seal it shut with the provided 4 clips. Depending on the flower, texture, moisture will determine how long you will place product in microwave. I would recommend starting off at lower times (20 seconds) and checking as you go so you do not burn the specimen. There is an instruction book included that can also give you some extra tips on how long to press the flowers. A lot is learn as you go. Try a not so perfect specimen first so if you mess up it isn't a big deal. If the specimen is heated up for to long it can become "burnt" and have a brown discoloration. Due to the fact you are microwaving a product there is a smell, but that is determined on the type of specimen you are trying to preserve. Product works best on a dried, but healthy water plant. The more moisture in the plant/specimen the longer it will take to preserve

This is super cool. It’s still fairly intricate work but does a great job so quickly that you can have a bunch of dry flower for projects in a matter of hours. I did get the bigger one bc I am using it for ferns and I am really glad I invested in it. Read the directions and take your time.

This is sooooo easy to use! I'd recommend to anyone wanting to try drying flowers. I've never attempted drying any other way besides hanging upside down. This was fun. Can't wait to do more!

I saw this awhile back for pressing flowers in my botanical groups and thought this may be a good way to preserve things. As soon as I got it I immediately went to my garden and picked a few things. It is not intimidating, but I do believe there is a learning curve. Having pressed flowers before in the regular method- this is a whole other animal. I want it to be a game changer for my botanical work. I did cosmos- pelee mum and a bleading heart plant. 30 seconds in the microwave and bam! It’s a little tedious at first and even this large size should not be overstuffed with botanical material but pretty happy with my first go around. It comes with a booklet so you can troubleshoot. The pelee mum curled the petals and had to go in with a toothpick and lightly tap with a finger. I think the thinner the flower, the easier the process will be. I will try to update as I go along with this new way to press the flowers and some leaves. I hope to find more tips and tricks online to see how others are making out. The pieces themselves look durable and easy to use and the bigger one is probably the way to go unless you are doing very small pieces. I ordered the refill pack with this too so as things get dirty from the staining- I can launder and keep going. It’s is an investment at this price but you can see in the pictures first time doing it was pretty straightforward. When I did the old way, somehow I also ended up with the flowers or leaves molding out so hoping this won’t be the case here. I have them pressed in a heavy book with a layer of cotton cheesecloth and parchment paper and will have to check daily to make sure there is no moisture especially from the bleeding heart which was a little juicy- I gave it 4 stars because it is an expensive investment and for a beginner the curled leaves but that maybe my user error

Don't waste your time with an actual press. This was amazing. Just dont overdo it. Start with 20-40 secs then give it short blasts in the micro until it's stiff & holds it's shape. Size is perfect. Feels very durable. Instructions are clear. Looks & feels very durable, like could last thru the end of time. Everything kept it's color very nicely. This is worth the price. I did a whole bouquet in like an hour..from snip to wall.

Works well. Tried on petunias, cat's meow and pin tails. The petunias and cat's meow worked great. What I expected if it worked like what I saw in the video because those flowers press well in an old school traditional press. I started all with less seconds because I can always pop it back in and add more time. My only word of warning would be the stems on some of the flowers. I cut off all stems on the petunias so that was not an issue for them. The cats meow was great overall with leaves stem and small petals. The pin tails were another story. I was shocked because both stem and flower press amazing in a traditional press. Only put it in for 10 seconds and the flower looked perfect, but the stem burnt straight through the cloth and the two cushions (charred the hell out of it). Would need to reorder a cloth and new cushions to reuse. Works well just be cautious. No rhyme or reason on what will burn up.

I have a traditional flower press and heard about the Microfleur on an Instagram account that I follow. I was mesmerized by the color vibrancy and retention of the flowers dried with the Microfleur- so I took the leap. I am very much against microwaving plastic (even if it is considered "microwave safe"), so I asked friends if anyone had a microwave they wanted to get rid of- didn't care if it was stained, old, etc. It was pretty easy to find one for free. I'm really glad that I got a separate microwave for it, as I noticed that there was a smell associated with the process. The smell mad me gag a bit (I am very sensitive to those types of things), so I took my new (old) microwave outside and did all my pressing in the garage. In the guidebook, it definitely talks about wiping down your microwave after using the Microfleur in it to remove any potential toxic residues, so I am very, very happy that I got a separate microwave for this sole purpose. Anyhoo, I am extremely impressed by the Microfleur. The pictures show flowers that I picked and pressed just today- it would have taken 1-2 weeks to get these flowers pressed in my traditional flower press. The colors truly are amazing, and once I got the hang of how long to microwave things, the process became pretty seamless. For me, I can microwave almost everything for 60 seconds and it's good to go. I am super excited about pressing more flowers as the summer goes on and more things come into bloom. And again, I am extremely happy that I got a separate microwave for the process- definitely worth it in my opinion!

After many years of using my mini microfleur, I levelled up! My only regret is not doing this sooner! There is so much space for pressing favourite flowers. Read the instructions before use in order to retain hard to achieve dried flower colours and how to not dry flowers.

Prodotto molto interessante. Dopo diversi tentativi sono riuscita a capirne l’uso più corretto. Facile da usare e con ottimi risultati: i fiori mantengono i propri colori ad accezione di qualche rosso che vira a toni più scuri. Attenersi ai tempi di cottura indicati nel libretto delle istruzioni altrimenti si rischia di bruciare tutto (come mi è capitato!)

一度にすごく沢山の押し花を作ることは出来ません。 うちの電子レンジはあまり大きくなくて、ターンテーブルタイプなのですが、大きくてターンテーブルが回りませんでした( ˆ꒳​ˆ; ) 1分を2回してだいたいちょうどいいです。 でも、お花の種類や、挟んだ位置によって、焦げたのがあるのに、ちゃんとかわいてないのもある。 ターンテーブルが回らないからしょうがないのかな。 あと、使い始めの時、2分レンジに入れたら、布が焦げました。。なので、やはり、1分ずつから慎重に作った方がいいです。 押し花が数分で出来るということにはとても満足してます。欲しい時はすぐ欲しい性格なので。
