Great Segway to 100% Cotton Paper
I’ve tried all the watercolor papers, and without having to pay extreme amounts for 100% Cotton Paper, but without using cellulose paper that doesn’t absorb water at all, or dries too fast - this is the best Segway paper I e found for intermediate watercolorists that want to get more familiar with how the expensive papers work and feel with watercolor. This paper stays damp longer allowing you to blend better. I use this with my Daniel Smith, and if you want a paper close to how 100% cotton works, I would highly recommend this paper for practice!

It is okay
The paper is nice and thick enough that the water doesnt soak through and the colors do not bleed through. It have a rough side and a smoother side. Something I noticed is that the more textured side is weak. And by weak I mean, it peels if you are really working the paint on the paper. It can not take tape very well. I have a very good masking tape works well on everything BUT this paper. No matter how slow or what angle you pull the tape up, it takes some of the paper with it. I fpund that after pulling up the tape if you gently rub down the area that was taped then you cannot visually tell that the tape took off a thin layer of paper. If you do tape this paper, you have to be very very careful about removal its very easy to tear. I haven't painted on the smoother side side nor taped the smoother side so I do not know if there is a difference with taping and peeling.Other then that, the paper works like one would expect. Good for quick sketches and watercolor painting. Overall I would not say this is a great paper. It a great paper for the quantity you get for the price, but it could be better.

Good Paper for the Money
The value is the best part of this paper. 60+ sheets at 300GSM for under $25 is a steal. This paper is NOT 100% cotton, however, so don't be fooled into thinking it's anything other than student grade. Arteza makes 100% cotton paper that comes in 14-sheet pads - it's called their "Expert" paper. This is good paper though. It's heavy and cold pressed, but still somewhat smooth. Those looking for lots of texture will not enjoy this paper. The paper is sturdy and doesn't buckle too much during wet-on-wet. Of course, you should always tape your paper down to keep it flat during painting. I am a a total novice with watercolors (as you can see by my tree study image), and this paper is terrific for working out techniques and testing colors. You'll get some cauliflower and back flow in heavy wet-on-wet washes like skies, but dry brush and wet-on-dry look very good. I'm still learning to control water so maybe those will go away eventually. Overall, this is solid student-grade paper that comes at a very reasonable price. Great for kids, beginners, and even more experienced users wanting to try different things.

Great for starting out, at level 0 - 2/3 for beginners
The paper is very thick and absorbs a lot of water. I use both sides (because I am stingy like that) - one side I will do a full painting, on the other I will do studies or practice. I have used the smooth side for gouache and the rough for watercolor. The one thing that does not work well is lifting techniques for cumulus clouds - the paint does not lift off as cleanly as shown on 100% cotton paper. I am learning to paint them without the lifting technique. Both sides take re-wetting pretty well, rough better than smooth. The first upload is done on the smooth side. The second one on the rough side.

This Watercolor Pad is a great value for the money
After having used Arches Cold Press water color Blocks for some time, I wanted to use a more economical paper for "Practice" paintings. I re-discovered a Arteza Expert Cold Press 140 lb 32 sheet pad I forgot I had. I have been so pleased with the quality and durability of this paper. It has both a smooth and a textured side and it stands up very well to wet on wet painting and adding washes. The paper doesn't buckle or warp and the textured side still allows detailed work without distortion.

Bueno para principiantes
El papel tiene el grosor adecuado para acuarela, también la textura es bonita, pero tiene nudos que se hacen visibles cuando se aplica el color tenue. Cómo los puntos que se ven en la imágen.
