Very good reading, but technique requires lots of work to implement
A very thorough explanation of Leahy's techniques for treating anxiety and phobias. The implementation requires use of a lot of data keeping and filling in charts which could be very burdensome. A very similar approach without all the charts and paperwork should work for less serious conditions, as I had tried a very similar (but much simpler) approach by myself decades ago to treat (without a therapist) a childhood phobia and (to the first order) it worked..

10 Stars
Great demonstration of talent, but above all, an incredible book about anxiety and the knots that keep us hostage of it. The effort made by the author is reflected in an absolutely outstanding work, where he offers us a clear and unifying understanding of all anxiety disorders. His intention of solidarity and his concern to cover all aspects is seen widely in the book. This author wants us to understand, and he explains everything with the precision of a great communicator. As psychologist, I would like to say thank you! Only the great ones reveal the intricate learning to others. This book, the price, it's like you are buying Gold at the price of silver. I give it 10 Stars

Very Helpful
I actually purchased this book by accident on my Kindle. I was browsing and selected it before I was finished, but decided to keep it as it was only $4.99. This book has been life changing for me. As a result of being able to put a name to my anxiety and using the strategies, this former worry wort is much more relaxed. My only complaint is that the charts and diagrams are almost impossible to read on the Kindle, or at least I have not figured out how to get the zoom feature to work on them.

Must have for anxieties
This book is truly an incredible help for those suffering with anxieties and for their loved ones. It is very easy to read (without lots of psychological terminology) and it clearly goes into depth about each area of anxiety. It gives valuable information, examples, self evaluations, and very practical solutions. The principles taught in this book coincide with the principles that my son was taught at a highly specialized anxiety clinic. I consider this book a "must have" to help one understand and cope with anxiety.

The Anxiety Bible!
This is the best book on Anxiety i have ever read! I've lots of books on Anxiety including my 2nd best CBT Anxiety for Dummies.Robert Leahy is the only person you will ever need to hear from to help you with your anxiety. This genius with years of experience covers every aspect of anxiety and explains exactly why you feel the way you do and how to be happy and free again. Keep this book by your side so you can keep refering to it as you get through this debilitating condition. It's your Bible. If you suffer from anxiety then this is the only book you will ever need on the subject!

A clear, kind and hugely practical book. Highly recommended!
There are many good books on anxiety out there, but this is uniquely effective at summarising the links between anxiety in its different forms. It is clear, straightforward, kind and practical and makes me feel that the author would probably be a great therapist as well as great writer. I have recommended this book to many people both friends and professionally and am repeatedly surprised at how useful people find it.

Useful.
Recommended to me by nhs therapist team. Reading case study made me realise 'that's exactly how I feel' helped me to realise that these feelings aren't just 'normal'. Contains some useful exercises too.
