Inexpensive, Easy, Effective
The media could not be loaded. The hardest part of installing this was loosening some of the old parts on the Jeep (wheels, brakes, axels, etc.) so soak everything with your favorite spray loosener and be sure to have a breaker bar ready. Removing the old gears and installing the locker was simple. I did some mild wheeling after the install and it seems to work great. Climbing rocks, logs, and hills was easier than before. I look forward to giving it some more extreme tests, but so far - so good!

super strong
its super strong especially for a dana 30 first time out got in a bind and it ripped the ring gear to shreds granted it already had 200000 miles on it put new gears in its been great havent had to use the winch yet

Get Past the Gatekeeper
I had this installed in my Front Dana 30 on my JK. Initially, I was worried about the locker making noise and binding in 2wd, but this locker definitely does not do either. Only In the tightest of hard turns (in 2wd) you feel it ‘slip’ ( u-turns) but it does not bind nor make noise.Now, In 4wd, this thing is awesome. It does make it a little harder to turn, but it’s honestly not bad at all, and I’ve been in some pretty sketchy situations where turning is crucial. Now for added traction this is awesome. I’ve been able to get by several gatekeepers with only my Torq locker ( I have an Eaton in the rear 44) engaged. I think for the cost of this locker, the added Offroad benefits, the warranty, and the reputation of the company that makes this locker made me feel completely comfortable buying this, and I’m really happy with my purchase.
