Polyvine 729870010222 Exterior Wood Varnish 500ml

I applied to outdoor plant box in several layers. It was easy to apply, looked good when dry and I was grateful that it did not make my house smell as did previous varnish.

It's easy to apply by brush and putting two coats on our oak front door was a breeze. It does have a satin sheen as described. So far it has held up really well to the rain and elements. The water beads off and I've noticed less of the typical winter swelling of the door this year.

Good varnish but came in a bottle not a tin and also if your not careful it drips and the drips dry white, not clear.

Easy to apply, no yellowing on beautiful Oak door. I can’t comment on the durability as only just put it on my door.

Yeah probably need about 5 or 6 of these to coat a shed , so the relative cost is high. I would definitely look to get something different if I were you. Also it’s not in a can as it is pictured in the listing.

I needed a UV protective satin finish for a pyrography sign I had made... previously tried varnishes have just not provided the cover I was looking for.... this is perfect, a lovely satin finish and although a bit soon to tell if it is totally UV resistant but I have every hope this will do the job as I have other Polyvine products and they are fantastic!

Have not rated it for heat resistance because it’s not applicable for where I’ve used it.

Put 3 coats on my Adirondack chairs looks great but it is not easy to work with.

Used on my front door and had fine results. Time will tell on the durability.

This is probably the best oil-based varnish I have ever used! Dead flat finishes tend to show brush marks, but not this product, brushes very well, lays down perfectly, slight amber color, just a joy to use.
