I bought these after 25 years of loose roots and I’m flabbergasted. Actually, I thought they worked differently and had to look for instructions (they didn’t come with the package). Once I figured out that I was supposed to pull the end of the dread through the root using the tool, I was able to tighten the dreads. Mine are past my waist and some are too thick for the tool and get tangled going through, but so far this is a darn sight better than anything I’ve tried before. The dreads next to my ears are finally tight without all that fizz sticking out awkwardly. Will be recommending to my dreadie-hippie friends!

Needle is too big for sisterlocks

Needed a locking tool that was sturdy and wouldn't snag my sisterlocs or my clients locs, like some other interlocking tools I've used in the past. So far the quality seems to be top notch. The case it comes in will very helpful in keeping track of them since they are quite small.

These tools are too large for sisterlocs. The closer you get to the scalp, the harder it is for the tool to go through. The opening should be much more narrow, then it would be perfect.Love the fact that it is metal and comes in a case.

I love the case it came with very secure for your tools. They were larger than the picture, which is awesome. I have 2 headed dragons with some of my locs and I can interlock them easily with these tools. Well crafted easy to use. Nayoo you are on it!!!!

I used to use tweezers for interlocking. This is much more effective and easy to use.

If you have super microlocks like in the 400-600 count range, the smallest tool may be too big for the base of the loc.Also, I want to say that I used this tool on my own hair and not to do someone else's hair. And, I found at certain angles it was difficult and uncomfortable to grip the flat tool. My hands felt a bit strained.
