Hoover FH40190 FloorMate Edge Hard Floor Cleaner Machine w/Detergent Solution

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have The Hoover carpet cleaner and it works very well. This cleaner did not work. The brushes did not spin from the get go. I emailed them 3 different times and no response. I have restored cars for years so I know how to make things work this Item and the vendor SUCKS. So I bought another brand ( BISSELL Spinwave Powered Hardwood Floor Mop and Cleaner) and it works very well. Learn from my mistake.

I had the older version for ten years and loved it. This one can’t be fully cleaned, the scrub brushes get hair and stuff in them that has to be hand picked out. There is a chamber that cannot be cleaned, even though you can see it is dirty. The foot mechanism to go from wash to dry is only good if you have dry rubber shoes, otherwise your foot just slides off.Very disappointed in this, wish I had spent more and gone with the Bissell.

Great for tile floors. Actually removes the dirt from the floor into the tank. This method does not just push dirt around like a mop.

My new house has tile and laminate floors. The laminate was in pretty bad shape and I thought I would have to replace it. But if I got down on all fours and scrubbed my butt off I would notice it get a little cleaner. Not wanting to invest in knee pads and a back brace I bought this Floormate instead. At first I did not read the directions so make sure to do that cause it will make your life easier. The results speaks for themselves. The pictures I attached are before and after on the worst of my floor in my house. The dirt was set in and would not come out without vigorous scrubbing. You may still have to scrub out stubborn spots but this thing is amazing. It completely saved my laminate floors and my back. Also does very well on the tiles. Great for a deep cleanings that a regular mopping would not completely get.

love the vacuum but, should have waited for the next model as this one doesn't stand on it's own. So if you stop to move something I have to lean it against furniture & it usually falls. IT is also very heavy & at 81 years old it exhausts me. Cleans beautifully.

Very slow

I have had a Hoover Floormate for years a loved it. This model is as a replacement but I am disappointed. I expected something more improved. It does not vacuum up the dirty water as I think it should

Great on all accounts for even floors. Only down side would be if you have slightly uneven floora it isnt able to suction the water off
