Organic bilberry
Really pleased with this product. I bought 2 different brands to try and this is the best one. Once I've used up the other product, I'll buy more of this one.

A supplement worth trying
I have never tried a Bilberry supplement before. I have always had problems with my eyes, they are very sensitive to light and I can be prone to blepharitis. I wear contact lenses occasionally and these can make my eyes slightly dry. Reading other reviews on Bilberry convinced me that it is worth trying. I like this products as it is vegan and organic which is important to me.Bilberry is a type of blueberry, one of the so-called superfoods. Bilberry contains Anthocyanins which are a type of flavonoid, which has antioxidant effects on the body. I have been taking two a day for over a week now and it is difficult to tell whether there is an improvement in my eyes. However, saying that, I have been wearing my contact lenses on three separate occasions this week and I have not noticed that my eyes have felt dry. There is also spirulina in these capsules... something I have been taking for a while for B vitamins and Iron, as I do not eat meat. I think taking these supplements, over a long period, may perhaps help keep your eyes healthy. These capsules are very easy to swallow. They do leak colour onto your hands when taking them out of the bottle, but it washes off easily.

Expensive if used to treat ARMD
I ordered these from the Amazon Vine Program because I have Age Related Macular Degeneration and Blueberries are highly regarded to alleviate the symptoms. These capsules are very easy to swallow. But I am concerned about the price. For my condition we are advised to take Blueberry extract along with several other chemicals. If I were to buy them all separately (I can't get anything on the NHS) the price would be prohibitive. Thankfully there are formulations that contain all my needs, so I think I'll stick to these. However, if you do not have ARMD, then trying these to help your eyesight in general may well be a good idea.

Bilberry & Spirulina - A Double Dose of Goodness
I ordered these capsules because I'm passionately interested in health and fitness, and I like to try out new things.I am visually disabled already, and I want to do anything I can to prevent or retard the development of further macular degeneration or the complication of cataracts. I do consult my optometrist and the eye hospital regularly and taking supplements, I feel, is a responsible decision so long as you do a bit of research.Bilberries have long been 'thought' to improve eyesight and they are definitely packed full of anti-oxidants, so at the very least they will be reducing cell damage, sun damage and possibly reducing the risk of cancer. Reputable studies have shown that bilberries may also keep arteries in good health and reduce the possibility of diabetes.Additionally, this Bilberry extract is served in a 'base' of Spirulina. I'm a great fan of Spirulina, which is a blue-green algae and used as a complementary dose against itching, allergies and mild hay fever. There is some evidence that it might help in chronic fatigue, and also it's particularly good for the gut bacteria. The price is not too bad for a large bottle - I do feel healthy and strong for taking a variety of supplements and I'm quite happy to buy these for two twelve-week periods per year (Spring and Autumn).

Thought I would try for eye health.
I thought I would try these bilberry capsules for eye health.I have had a cataract op, and wanted to see if taking bilberry capsules would ward off having to have the other one done.Too early to see if there is any real benefit, but worth a try. A little expensive I think.
