One Boy

Our Grandchildren love to be read to, and they either love to read, or acquiring such affection. Ms Seegers books are illustrated and written in such a manner to make you feel that this is her goal. From one generation to the next, to love learning because, although it is some times difficult, it is mostly fun, and words within words and words with multiple meanings make word games delectable. Thank you Ms. Seeger for writing for our Kids and GrandKIds, because now I get to read good books to them more often, and recently written. Al in rural NE

I was skeptical when I first saw the book. I loved the cleverness the author employed, but I thought the concept was too elevated for a toddler to absorb. Although I still believe that, the book apparently works on another level as well. My son reports that the book has become his two-year-old son's favorite. The child gets to choose the book he wants to read and it is usually One Boy. He then turns the pages, and recites all of the copy to his Dad.
