Really love this torch for Encaustic painting

The product was terrible it did not work when I received it .The sellers did not refund me either .

I purchased this torch for an art resin project I was planning for Christmas gifts for friends and family. Got the torch all set up, that was really simple. Give it a test fire, it fired right up. Again this is all great.I mix my art resin and pour now I'm on a timer before the art resin will harden. Everything is going great until I get to the torch. Even though I have changed nothing since I last test fired the nozzle would not turn on to allow the gas to flow no matter how hard I turned it.Now I'm stressing out because I need to burn out the air bubbles of the art resin before it becomes a permanent mistake. No matter what I do the dial that allows the gas to flow would not turn. I even got a pair of pliers and turned with those and all that happened was I stripped the inner core of said dial. I had to use a cigarette lighter to burn out the air bubbles and the project was a failure.this torch was a waste of time and money and I will never buy another BernzOmatic product again.

I purchased one of these blue handled torches a few months ago. I also do resin art projects. Before mixing I tested my torch and it failed. Could not get it to light or get the gas dial to turn. I went to the hardware store and purchased a manual one as that is the only brand they carry. It failed also. Finally I went to another hardware store and all they carried were the same ones desperate to get this paid 5500.00 project done I purchased another blue handled devil. It fired up correctly. I mixed my resin and half way through the job it quit. The whole project will now need to be recoated when I can find a decent torch.
