Have been using these pens for years. Smooth-writing, reliable, long-lasting.The rubberised grip makes them very comfortable to write with.The ink doesn't smudge unless you rub it really hard.They're also very clickable, i.e. fidgetable.They're easy to dismantle. The nib support, rubberised grip, barrel and clip just pull apart.Interference fit - no glue.If the grip sleeve ever comes loose or revolves, just push the nib support firmly into the barrel.They can be shortened by up to 1.5 cm - makes them more pocketable. Just pull the grip and nib support off the barrel and take out the ink tube. Shorten the barrel and ink tube by exactly the same amount and reassemble. Make sure not to cut the ink tube below the current ink level or ink will leak out. Sadly, the only way to get the ink level down if it's too high is by writing. (First draft of your forthcoming memoirs?! New symphony?)Clicker pen mechanisms are pretty ingenious - worth researching online (if you're into all that).People ask where these Bics come from.The 5-pack I got recently (5 for £3 = £0.60 each) says:Société Bic, 92611 Clichy CEDEX, France - distributed by Bic UK Ltd - made in Mexico.The Bic website says they started manufacturing in Mexico in 1973.Weight: 5.7 g. Pens work fine but the box they came in was damaged.

Nice and soft though ink projection needs improvement.

Good pens, perfect for my note taking. Ink flows well and didn't arrive dried out or anything. I'll buy these again for sure.
