Colors make it fun. Some folds difficult and instructions are poorly written and diagramed the purse is one such difficult pattern. Better kits on the market.

I am having a great time working my way though this fantastic kit. It makes origami enjoyable and approachable, even for a novice like me. The booklet is fun and easy to read. The instructions are clear and detailed with lots of little hints and "extras," including how to make your origami creations into unique gifts such as earrings or magnets. The kit includes 18 origami designs (my favorites so far are the cupcake and the adorable panda!) and 60 pretty sheets of paper which have folding guidelines that I found very useful. I would definitely re-purchase this as a gift.

I grew up making origami (using it on cards, making boxes, etc) and I am so glad I found this kit to share with my 9 year old niece! It's colorful and fun and easy to learn, and absolutely adorable!She opened the box and couldn't stop making the different origami craft projects. I even got a card from her with the cute little butterfly on it on my next birthday!

Bought this as a gift for my 11 year old niece. This was a huge hit! Really fun for all of us. Very nicely made and the papers are beautiful. Good gift for a creative tween!

My first origami book and it is awesome. It helped keep me busy on 30 hours of flight time. I would would definitely recommend it.
