Wrong fit.
Even with this device I was unable to get my note to fit in the headset. Time to go a different route for VR.

These are given for free...except when you live in the Philippines
These adapters are shipped FREE when you live in the United States to owners of the Samsung Galaxy note 9. But when you live in the Philippines it is hard to get them. there are none in the Philippines. Amazon shipped one to me. Cost me around $30 but at least I can use my Galaxy Gear Oculus now.
