Tasted great

I buy these for the fiber content because I feel like even though I eat a large meatless salad for dinner I could still use extra fiber in my stool.I bought these on sale so I thought the price was similar to the bars I get at Aldi's or elsewhere. The flavor isn't amazing but it's on par with the other bars. One thing to note is it doesn't taste like it has as much artificial sweetener as the last slimfast diabetic bars I ordered. Artificial sweeteners in larger quantities leave a strong unwelcome after taste to me and I prefer a small amount of sugar over a lot of sugar alcohols. These were more nutty and the after taste was fine.Only time will tell on whether these are good for the stool 😉

The protein bar has a definite cardboard taste and crumbly texture, nor appealing.

It's a diet bar so by definition it's not going to taste good but it's not spit out the mouth bad. To it's credit, it does make me feel full where I don't want anything else to eat unlike other products. Just wish it would actually taste good instead of like cardboard. Will I buy again? Up in the air, while I'll probably finish the box, I don't know how long I can continue to eat something I kind of have to make myself eat.Had to laugh at the Ease of Use rating... how hard is it to eat! I've got that down, that's why I bought the product.

...and I haven't tasted any bars better than the SlimFast Whipped Triple Chocolate bars, from any other brand of meal replacement bars, even though they were a bit overpriced compared to the prices at Supplement Hunt, they are the only ones I have found that you can buy with an EBT card and now that the amount I get per month on my EBT card will be lower next year, it looks like I won't be able to buy as many boxes next time and not as often as I would like to buy them also.

They obviously had melted at some point during shipping. You could tell by looking at them. At room temp they firmed back up enough to eat, but the peanut butter did not seem whipped at all, and the bars were not as thick and fluffy as in the pic on the box. I could have overlooked all of that if they tasted good, but they were actually awful. I thought this was probably due to them having melted in shipping, so eventually I found them in a local store and decided to try them again. The ones from the store looked better because they were not melted, but still were not as thick and fluffy as in the pic on the box, and they actually tasted a little worse than the ones I had shipped to me. The melting must have somehow made the first ones marginally better! Anyway, do yourself a favor and get Atkins peanut butter chocolate bars instead. They taste fantastic and are Keto friendly. You might want to get them from the store though to avoid having them melt.

This is the second time that the bars have arrived hot and melted despite being packed with gel ice pack and cold wrap. The product is obviously being left on hot delivery trucks more than 2 days. The product is great, the delivery time is horrible.
