Hope Springs [Tate, Kim Cash] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Hope Springs Review: Healing. Forgiveness. Unity. Humility. - This was such an unexpected read as my book club and I decided to read all.of Kim Cash Tate's books in order. After reading Though I Stumble and then going back to the real first book to get the history of all the characters in the first of the Promises Series. I didn't expect this book to be as good as it was in the line up but I definitely fell in love with all of the new characters along with enjoyed the depth of finding out more of the characters I was already familiar with. Do yourself a favor and read Kim Cash Tates books in publication order. Chefs Kiss! Review: Excellent Introduction to Stephanie - So Stephanie started it all! Having received them as gifts, I started my Kim Cash Tate book journey with three of the four books in the Promises of God Series, which also includes a fifth book, a novella between books 2 and 3. After reading As Long as I Cling, Hope Springs came up as a suggested next read. It sat in my Kindle library for more than a year. I'm sure it was supposed to take me longer to read; however, it's so good that it's hard to put it down. Now I'm wondering what's next in Stephanie's journey. Having read Though I Stumble, and now, Hope Springs, I think there is a book or two in there that further connects the stories. If anyone knows the order, I would be grateful for you sharing. Thank you!

Excellent Introduction to Stephanie
So Stephanie started it all! Hope Springs
Kim did it again. The story is so captivating. The characters are real and the problems are real and you just lose yourself in the story. It is hard when the matriarchs are going through hard trials. Families are so important and churches and communities. It was well written. A must read!!!

Engaging Christian Fiction
Janelle Evans lost her husband and she also pulled away from her relationship with God. When she and her children visit Hope Springs for a family reunion, she finds a reason to stay longer than she'd intended. Will the time she spends with family and an old friend help her to live again? Becca Anderson is finally living her dream. She has been invited to speak at The National Christian Women's Conference, and maybe even greater things will follow. Her husband has been called to Pastor his late father's church in Hope Springs, which means relocation to a small town. How will the move affect her dream, her marriage, and her walk with the Lord? Stephanie London is happily married and living in St. Louis. A visit to Hope Springs reunites her with family she hasn't seen in years, and it also teaches her a few things about herself. The first thing I thought as I began to read was that it would have been nice if this book had not been released until December or maybe even November, around Thanksgiving. Since it's Christmas when the story begins, reading it during the Christmas season would have made for a even cozier reading experience. Yes, I could have waited, but I had read Faithful, and I was reading Cherished when I bought Hope Springs, so - since I really enjoyed the first two books - I was eager to read more of Tate's work. Predominately white churches, predominately black churches - Tate brings attention to the division among believers, teaching a lesson Christians will benefit from. There are also messages about how harmful family secrets can be, putting someone's needs before your own, learning how to hear from God, family unity and forgiveness. Some of Tate's fictional characters from Faithful and Cherished are in this book, but the story mostly revolves around new characters. There are quite a few of them to keep track of - I had to go back a few sentences every now and then to make sure I had things straight, but Hope Springs was as inspirational, engaging and thought-provoking as Tate's previous novels.

Great book!
I absolutely loved this book. I have read many books by this author. And each of her books are a "page-turn." I literally have had moments where I'd fall asleep ready her book. Not because I'm disinterested. But b/c I don't want to put it down; or miss what will occur next. I also review many clips by Kim Cash Tate on YouTube.

I fell in love...
Well, I am still in tears (but I won't tell you why -- you'll have to read this yourself...and you'll be glad you did!) not just because of the wonderful story but because I just did not want this story to end! What an absolutely wonderful novel. Thank you, Kim for writing this. I love the characters (I so want to be neighbours with them) . I loved the plot and the message and I loved the way it was all woven together. This book was a delight even though it dealt with real hurts and disappointments...but life is like that and God always has His plans and purposes meant for His glory and our good...and sometimes He has some mighty wonderful surprises up His sleeve. Thanks for reminding us of that Kim! I highly recommend this book. Give yourself a chance to fall in love with these characters and enjoy watching God work. For me, this book encouraged, comforted and challenged (in a good way!). I'll be enjoying it for sometime to come, even though I've finished the last page. Debbie p.s...I will be waiting for another!!!

My Family
A book about introducing to a family dynamic. Except for the color racial dynamic this I could relate to. My family had to deal with cultural difference since we were German and largely clannish, But the basic culture differences , especially language i relate to.

I have been reading Kim's other books a little out of order. I started off with Though I Stumble and then read If I Believe. Those were really good books. I liked this one but wasn't as taken by it as the others. However, what I do like about reading her books, is that there is always at least one thing I am either prompted to put back into my life or something new to introduce into my life. It was good getting to know Stephanie from the beginning. Love Sara-Ann too.

The theme of the story was good, but too long and dragged out. I confess I skipped quite a bit. The most frustrating part was it was about two churches New Jerusalem and Calvary. Apparently one for Black and one for white. So I assume from that, that Travis was white. But the story is around a bunch of friends, and, a big family, but they didnโt all go to the same church and I gave up trying to work out who was black and who was white, so I could understand the story better. It was confusing
