The shipping was slower than expected. I note this because we were specifically buying this for a camping trip, instead of arriving in 2-4 days (Express shopping we paid extra for) it was 8 days. When it finally did arrive, while it was well packaged it was the day after we had already departed for the trip.HoweverThe product its self is outstanding! Not only is it a tough, exquisitely constructed and finished tool, but it's one of the few kukris I've seen that is well ground. The thinner ground cutting edge amplifies its chopping power into a tool that's way more useful than others I've seen out there! The sheath was well made and gorgeous. This is 100% the real deal and it's my preference over any other kukri I've seen south of $300.

Received Khukuri today, Excellent quality and the style is just what I was hoping it would be. I wanted a more subdued finish and not the mirror polish that other Khukuri makers produce.The handle is rosewood a nice deep brownish red with beautiful marbling in the grain. It is really a beauty to behold in person and pictures don't do justice.The scabbard is a nice leather with great stitching. Feels like a good solid wooden scabbard. Nothing loose and once you learn the right angle to slide in knife it's a perfect fit.Construction is solid and meant for actual usage this is the real deal and not a show piece although it could be one if you choose.Immediately tested it once I unboxed, chopped thru a 3" ash tree limb with ease and chopped up tree knot with no problem.Edge had zero rolls and was still sharp enough to slice paper.It's balanced beautifully making it an excellent forward heavy chopper but also light enough to not wear you out. I have large hands and the handle feels comfortable and secure.Each strike against wood had little vibrations on hand so no fatigue in fingers.If you are a first time buyer I highly recommend this Khukuri.If anything else as a nice piece of Nepalese culture.

Excellent blade so far holding up great for chopping wood ,bamboo,PVC and chicken bones, holds the edge well. Definitely buying from them again,great for the collection.

Strongest knife I own now, I used as machete in the woods! The weight of it drove right through 3/4" limbs easily!

Its a work of art. Handmade. Beautifully crafted, razor sharp straight out of the box. Heavy enough to chop through 2" bamboo. I'm delighted.

I get this last week my expectation of quality was high about all the good review. But I was disappointed of quality of handle. Handle is poorly made some crack there and blade also dull. I know is hand made but no quality check. I am knife collector. it is my hobby. it is not sell by Amazon prime also. So if I return may be I pay the shipping. At least company should some offer some kind of discount, i pay around $63.92. company offer me if i order next time give me some discount,. It will never order again I order from TORA Kukri OR Himalayan Import or dragon fly cookery . it is expensive kukri hand made but faultless . no mistake. very balance. My suggestion if you use it everyday or Martial Art or use for outside work. Go for best one. You pay under$250. every penny worth it. cheap skate no good. You don't buy everyday this. Just as for example Japanese knife best of the best.. But expensive.

Bought this as a gift for my Brother who does Knife reviews on youtube! He was soo impressed by the blade he couldn't put it down. The Kukuri knife was very well made and full tang! Its a beautiful blade and the sheath was impressive too!!! Now I didn't know it would come pre oiled which is a good thing I am told. Truly a beautiful blade and weighted right. Thank you!
