Good camera
Works great..... Little bit of a learning curve to figure out how everything works in the geovision nvr system..... But works great....I got a used "acceptable" unit for $100 and it WAS acceptable... BUT it was missing one screw to hold down the front lense cover.... I scavenge the screw from the back plate mounting plate for the front cover so it worked out...but would have been better with all hardware included. But the camera itself works great.... For used "acceptable" it was in very good shape no scratches on lens ....I mounted in in the side of my trailer.... It is a tad less then 180° more like 177° .....I had a zmodo 180 degree camera mounted in the exact same spot and it was a tad more than a hundred eighty degrees because you could see the wall at the end of the trailer on either side with the geovision you cant.... But not a big deal... Still very very wide angle....I would buy another.... WILL buy another...

You can see everything with one camera!
At first I was skeptical about spending 200 bucks on a fisheye camera for my garage but I was totally surprised! I installed it on the ceiling and it looks and is about the size of a smoke detector. It also has 3 IR LEDs and that is able to illuminate my entire 3 car garage. The WDR function is top notch. I'm able to see outside my garage window even though it's super bright. All in all this camera does the job of many and I will be buying more soon!

2mp sensor doesn't de-keystone to anything reasonable
Provides a true 360 from the ceiling, very distorted. Can de-fish this in software but note the sensor density is consistent and the top of the image will be far less quality than the bottom. If you take this approach get a Mobotics unit that uses 3 sensors to do it. Then you can pull 6 feeds from a single camera and each covers 60 degrees and without the distortion. They look the same, they also cost 6 times as much, but at this price point and quality it's either not your money or it's not an object .. getting the ladder out is a bigger pain. This I cannot think of where it'd be a good fit though. Were it 10mp you could work with it if it was a high quality sensor that was cooled .. but it's not that in here, and yes thermal noise is also a problem if it's hot. It gets toasty in a standard 70 degree room, outdoors I didn't bother as why look at the sky.
