Don't listen to the bad reviews. I had no glitches or anything with this game. It plays perfectly, never freezes, loads FAST, graphics are great and it is hours of endless fun.The fact you can play as the pets makes it so much better, plus the Create a Sim is advanced. I was originally going to buy this for my PC, I tried and despite having a Windows 7 with a great graphic card and tons of memory, my computer would not play the game right. The pets were deformed and everything.So that is why this version suits me best. Here's some answers to common questions about this console version:(Q) Are there horses?(A) NO, that is the one downside to the game. But the dogs and cats are so cute in it(Q) Are there pets features the console offers but not the PC?(A) Yes, you can start them out as puppies and kittens in Create a Sim family(Q) How complicated and different are the controls?(A) as a person who has played Sim games on the PC up until now (This being my first console version) it is a little confusing at first. But I figured out within a few minutes with no help, It is very different from the PC controls but like any other console game, once you memorize the controls, its easy(Q) Are there glitches or issues?(A) Not on my copy, I had zero glitches or errors. No freezing either. It also loaded very fast(Q) Can you breed pets?(A) Yes, but the family limit in each household id six(Q) Is this an expansion pack or stand alone?(A) It is a stand alone game. You do NOT need to buy Sims 3 to play it. Sims 3 Pets comes with both sim and pet features. It will save you money knowing this.Also, here's something I found very strange about what other reviewers on here said. A couple reviewers on here complained about how you cannot move you family without deleting them. I tried to, and guess what? Moving did NOT delete my family.So yea I got no clue why so many people think it does, but you are perfectly safe to move your family without losing themIf you have any other questions, you can comment. Arrived it great condition, and fast. It was actually unexpected when it came in. I didn’t expect it for a few more days.

I already had one of these games but wanted a spare cause everything in life changes and I might not be able to get it again. This is my go to when life gets too much. Or when I feel a bit blah and start procrastinating about stuff- it help to get my organisational mojo back on track. Mine came without a guide book (both of my games did) so have had to Google for the odd bit of 'how do I do this?' But is so much fun and so much to do in this game-still not near done playing it and totally glad I was able to find it on Amazon. And was in great condition by the way...just sayin.
