Roommate is book 5 in The Real Man series. Each short story can be read as a standalone.Meghan and Brendan have been in love with the other for years. Unfortunately they've both been too scared to say something for fear of ruining the close friendship they have. When Meghan is thrown out of her apartment, Brendan is the first person she calls. Now that she's living with him, Brendan is determined to man up and tell Meghan how he's felt all these years.These are good characters and the ending is really sweet. My only complaint: have you ever listened to someone ramble and think to yourself - "hurry up and get on with it!!"? Well, that's how I felt about the inner dialogue of the characters trying to find backbones to reveal their feelings. It was a little too repetitive and there wasn't much else in the story going on.There's going to be a book 6 coming soon.

What a wonderfully sweet story. The author is an expert at bringing the real world into the fantasy and creating stories that you feel in your heart. I love that these two not only waited to reveal their love, but also waited for each other. The story might seem taboo, but where there is no blood relation, love can bloom. This fast read is sure to get the blood pumping and set your emotions on high. I enjoyed this addition to the Real Man series and can’t wait to read the next installment.

Meghan and Brendan meet when their parents get married. Though they are only married a short time a relationship between the tow of them develop. Neither of them act on their attraction but they both feel it.A couple years later, when Meghan is in need of a place to stay, Brendan offers her a room. Hanging out again and small spaces makes it too difficult for the both of them to keep their attraction secret any longer.This was a hot read.

Meghan is feeling like her life has fallen apart which is why she is moving in with her stepbrother for the time being. She has long harbored a crush on him, while not related by blood she wishes he felt the same. Brendan has been in love with Meghan for years, he knows she is it for him and has to figure out a way to tell her though.This was fun, I liked it a lot. Had a big surprise that I was not expecting and will not reveal. Another great read from this author.

This was a quick sexy read. Brendan and Meghan are former step=siblings that love each other. Fun plot, great characters and good writing, throw in a little bit of a slow burn and smoking hot sex and you've got a fabulous book. Great story Jenika Snow!

Well I've read a lot of books but this one was special, it's lovely .,from the first page the love they have for each other reaches through and holds there all the way to the last page. As you can tell ,I loved it

A fun quick read i love these insta romances short sweet with lots of spice. And the author sure knows how to pack everything in but in a way that you love.

This wasn't the best in the series by far. I didn't connect with the characters and Brendan wasn't particularly alpha like the men in the rest of the series.

Enjoyed this book the story was very romantic you wanted them to eventually become a couple I would read it again

Bin normalerweise Fan solcher Bücher, aber dieses hier hat meinen persönlichen Geschmack leider komplett verfehlt.Ich bin mir bewusst, dass es sich hier nur um 100 Seiten handelte, nichts desto trotz war ich von den Charakteren enttäuscht.Achtung Spoiler:Das sich 2 ehemalige Stiefgeschwister in einander verlieben ist ja nichts neues, aber auch hier hat mir so ein bisschen mehr Background gefehlt.Beide haben sich all die Jahre füreinander aufgespart und waren schon ewig ineinander verschossen, ohne wohl zuvor jemals in Erwägung gezogen zu haben, dass der andere wohl genau so fühlen könnte??Er war mir auch für meinen Geschmack zu gefühlsduselig und hat ihr in so einem kurzen Buch andauernd seine Liebe gestanden, so dass man das Gefühl hatte, dass der Autor sich wiederholt und das Buch in die Länge streckt.Leider nicht so mein Geschmack, deshalb nur die 2 Punkte.
