A great book for kids! And for their parents too!My kids read it first in Bulgarian, and now in French!

I once used this book while living and working in a French-speaking country to help me brush up on the language. I found that children’s books were a good beginning, plus the stories made me giggle. I ordered this for fun.

My 11 yr. old loves this book. He's a serious student of French, and cannot get enough of Petits Nicolas and his friends. We also purchased, Le petit Nicolas.

This book is such a pleasure! it is laugh-out-loud funny. Perfect to develop french fluency and have a great time while doing it.

I love these adorable books! If you're a French teacher, like I am, looking for stories that the live-action movie was (loosely) based on, there are Les Docteurs and Marie-Edwige's birthday party. Lots of advanced grammar, so probably best at level 3 and above.

Great for what it is -- a series of short, highly-amusing tales of the little French school kids. I bought it as assigned reading for a French class, but found it great fun by itself. It is in French.

Great book, however the cd speaks French at a realistic speed. The reader is great, however, this is more for advanced readers and listeners.

Le petit Nicolas is the French version of Calvin and Hobbes, only not written in comic strip. It's a wonderful book every one in the French speaking world should read (at least one of the collection).

Simply hilarious - the second Nicolas volume I've come across - it won't be the last.

Really good for practice when you have been learning French for a couple of years.

A highly amusing book for both the more mature and young. Great to read to improve your French and the pictures are a delight.
