Are you here searching for a deodorant alternative because your natural deodorant leaves you with B.O. half way through the day?? (Cough cough NATIVE) well in all seriousness, this is the deodorant for you. Just like you are right now, I was so skeptical. How the f does this work??? So I decided to try it. I HAVE NO BO. None at all, not even a whiff of it. I am obsessed. And only $8, now that’s value for your money ???? Count me in for life. Also no irritation whatsoever. This deodorant can be used during intensive workouts and YOU STILL WONT SMELL.

I have had a great experience with this deodorant. I have been using it daily for about 5 months now. I had been trying out a few different ones throughout the past year in an effort to replace many of my products with more natural versions and while many products have been easy to switch out, I have had some bad experiences with deodorants. I felt that many did not do a great job of masking odor (some just flat out made me smell BAD- I won't list which ones because I know that also depends on each individual person's body chemistry and how they react to the formula, but it was definitely discouraging), and another issue I ran into was that it seemed that I needed to reapply very often. This is the first deodorant that has worked perfectly for me. I apply it once in the morning and that is all I need for the entire day, I have not noticed any smell and it doesn't leave a mark on my clothes which is a big plus. I had been getting dry patches of skin on my underarms and since using this deodorant they have disappeared. Another (weird) plus is that there is no build up so when you shave your razor doesn't get any deodorant gunk in it. I will absolutely purchase this product again (though it seems like it will be a while before I run out), and I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t like this deodorant. It’s mineral and claims to offer 24-hour protection, but it really doesn’t deliver. It doesn’t reduce sweat, and you still end up smelling bad by the end of the day. Plus, you have to wet the deodorant before using it, which makes it very inconvenient — you can’t just pull it out of your bag and apply it unless you have water with you. For me, it didn’t work.

Excellent deodorant, no complaints on that section... I apply it in the morning and even after I'm done with 8 hours at work and then maybe an hour at the gym, the smell isn't too bad. No real difference as compared to the Axe/Old Spice kinds with respect to the deodorant powers and since this is natural and less harmful to the skin, I would gladly recommend it.My wife and I started using it over the sink on our granite counter tops before reading the instructions and the spots this product left over on the granite caused the sheen to go away and dull spots were formed on the granite, this is a common problem with all mineral salt based products apparently but we found out too late! Now, we've started using it in the bath tub (more than 10 feet away from granite!) to prevent any further damage.

This is the best crystal deodorant I've found. Don't be thrown by the word "crystal" - it's actually salt crystal, like they chipped big pieces off a rock of salt, smoothed it out and put it in this dispenser :) Sure, OK. It's probably not done that way. But you get the idea.The best part about using this is the lack of stains on my white shirts anymore. Those stains come from your sweat mixing with the chemicals in regular deodorant. (BTW, trying soaking the pits of your shirts in white vinegar before laundering them, that should stop the staining. But who wants to do that every time they wash their shirts?) I find its deodorizing properties to be more or less the same as any commercial deodorant, minus the flowery smell that most [female] deodorants incorporate. So now if I've had a particularly sweaty day and I start to stink a bit, I stink of Eau de Bette Blue - not Bette Blue plus stinky flowers. This is preferential.I keep the deodorant in my shower and apply it before drying off my underarms. It's the easiest, fastest way. My pits are usually dry by the time I dress. Be careful to keep its cap on between uses though. If you don't and you should drop it, the crystal will crack or shatter and you really can't apply it under your arms after that. I've broken more of these than I've used up. It will last a loooong time if you don't break it. Or you can do what I did: resign yourself to clumsiness and just buy a 6 pack of the travel size (2.25 oz) ones. I prefer the ease of application with the larger size, but I've yet to drop one of the small ones. And if and when I do, I have some back-ups waiting in the closet.

The cap will not screw on straight, due to salt rock being installed on an angle. Still usable though.

I am shocked at how well this works! I tried this out because I get rashes from normal deodorants and the all natural ones like Toms/Schmidts/Native only work for a few hours and leave gross films on shirts in the underarm area.Day 1 I showered around 10pm, put it on my wet armpit then slept. Next morning I don't smell funky and keep going normal work from home, started smelling a bit around 5pm, so a good 19hours of protection. Day 2 I showered again around 10pm and applied to wet armpits after shower then went to bed. I started yardwork around 8am, I didn't start smelling until around 2PM - so 6 hours of HEAVY protection.Day 3, I wet the deodorant and applied in the AM because I forgot to the night before. Started smelling a little funky after 4 hours of running around and light workout but still better than when I use other natural deodorant. So I think the secret is that you have to apply to freshly showered/washed pits for best results.
