Very easy install.

This device allows my dash cam to remain powered 24/7, so it can continuously record—even when the car is turned off.

I am using this cord for a different brand of dash camera and it performs as it should. I was able to tuck the wire out of site for a nice clean look, I don't like wires that are exposed it just makes the car look messy. It's plug and play once you route the wires. It could be slightly longer, I used it in my minivan so the distance from the top of the windshield down to the fuse box is longer than most cars. I was able to make it reach, but had to reroute it a few times and have it routed not in the ideal location but it works. The power works as it should, it turns off the camera when I turn off the van but the 24 hr surveillance does work on the dash cam.

Did not come with extra fuses or fuse adapter to hookup into different fuse spots. If your car has different fuses from the ones that are are the cables you cannot change them out for the correct ones
