Worked well for me
Yes this is relatively expensive but it fits well in Legrand cabinets. I used this to hold my cable modem in place and it worked well. The velcro strips are long but so is my modem so they secured it well. Not sure I'll buy more to hold my new router and switch in place because of the port and LED placements. I may just use zip ties for them.

Held an 8 port dumb switch in Onq panel just fine
Used this to mount an 8 port dumb switch (switch ports to the front) in my Onq panel. I used the horizontal velcro channel to hold the switch in place, and mounted the switch (bottom side of switch facing forward, and the AC power port hanging off of the mount to the left). I then used the bit of overhang in front of the switch for coiling the unneeded length of the AC adapter cord around it. The mount is well made and the plunger gave me no trouble. Though, it would be a good idea to have an extra plunger on hand (purchased separately).

The On-Q shelf you are looking for . . .
Don’t buy the plastic one! This is slim and strong and can hold a lot of different devices. A must if you have an On-Q wall unit.

Easy to Install
Solid product that does what it says. It will snap right into your OnQ enclosure, and it comes with two pretty long velcro strips to tie down whatever you put on top of this. Perfect size for stuff like a cable modem. If you have something bigger, you might want to look for the full-width plate, or just be prepared for the gear to hang off the sides of this thing (which wouldn't be the end of the world in some cases either). I'm buying a couple more to finish up my closet and get it organized.-1 star for price, its a bit much, but I can live with it.

Works great with my Ubiquiti router!
The halfwidth mounting plate works great with my Ubiquiti USG router, and AT&T modem. I bought two of these to mount these smaller items in my Legrand cabinet. I also bought a full width mounting plate to mount my Ubiquiti 8-port switch.Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with the variety of accessories that are offered for our Legrand wall cabinet!

but that is fine. I like the velcro because it seems I ...
Worked perfectly to hold my cable modem. Note cable modem is quite a bit larger than the 1/2 size tray, but that is fine. I like the velcro because it seems I am often taking a look at this thing to make sure it is working when I have an outage (which is typically 1-2 times / year). I used to have it zip tied to the cabinet and as you can imagine that was a pain.

The OnQ/Legrand design team knows how to make me happy
I purchased an OnQ/Legrand data/comm/TV distribution panel and loads of components including this one. It functions as advertised and in fact I bought three of these (one each for the cable modem, wireless router, and 16-port switch). One of these days I will upload a hi-resolution photo of the panel or a short video, demonstrating everything. In fact I am quite pleased with the outcome, considering this is not my specialty.
