Joe Satriani Live in Paris - I Just Wanna Rock

It was for a friend and he adore the album.

SATRIANI　LIVEがあまりに素晴らしかっただけに購入を躊躇したＣＤです。そしてやっぱり微妙に予想が当たってました。前ライブ作にくらべてかなりマイルドです。まあsatchも50代ですし、尖った部分は若干後退したけど、CRYINなんかは素晴らしいテイクになってます。ちなみにBASSはお久しぶりでスチュ・ハムです。例のベースソロをかましてくれてます。ばっちりム〜〜ス！ＣＡＬＬもおきてます。久々に来日してくれないかなぁ。

Great music

I am a certified Joe fan, have all his albums and seen him live too. Joe has published many live albums and I initially passed on this one, thinking "dispensable". I bought it in the end and I am shocked. This is his best live album. Amazing sound, great selection of songs mostly from the "post crystal era", and the show comes out very strong. Some stuff I did not like so much on the studio version is really great here.Plus this is also a real live, with Joe/crowd interaction, I wish I had been there (in the sets I have seen he hardly says anything).MUST HAVE for Satriani fans, but also for ALL GUITAR FANS.

Satriani just gets better. Have been listening to him for years and didn't think he'd ever reach the same heights as 'The Extremist' back in the early days, but he just keeps proving me wrong!
