Sebago Men's Hamilton Lace-Up Boot

Fit just as expected, very comfortable, and look great. They were a little shinier than I was expecting when I received them. They really dulled down a bit and broke in (look wise, they felt comfortable and broken in when they showed up) after a few weeks of wear. So, if you want to keep them shiny I would recommend polish for them, but if you like the slightly more distressed, broken in look that happens naturally and look great. I have had several comments about them and a few people ask me where I bought them. They also feel very well put together and very solid. The leather feels soft to the touch but also durable. Very pleased with these boots.

I was looking for something casual enough to wear with jeans but dressy enough to wear if I decide to throw on a jacket. These boots fit the bill. I read the review and generally agree with all of them. These are $100 boots. I don't expect the workmanship, quality, durability or comfort to be within a thousand miles of Fryes or Allen Edmonds. If you are expecting that, buy Fryes or Allen Edmonds! These are "fashion boots" plain and simple. They look good and they fit over your feet, that's it. My initial impression of the leather was not great. I definitely had that pleather look and feel. But, one treatment with some Leather Honey and it softened right up and took on a much deeper, richer color. I'll keep them soaked in it until they break in. There is no cushioning or support in these boots. Tried pulling some insoles out of a pair of Sperry's I had near by but the toe box is too tight to be able to add them. I'm not saying they are uncomfortable in any way, but they aren't something you are going to want to go hiking in. They run really big. I wear 11.5 sneakers. I bought these boots in 11 and there is still plenty of room in front of the toe. I probably could go with a 10.5 but I'm not going to bother sending them back, the 11 is fine. I'm not really sure about the sole. The rubbery bottom is a bit cheesy looking and I've read it doesn't hold up. Frankly, part of me hopes it wears out. I'll just run it over to the cobbler and have him put a better looking, better performing sole on for me. It's cheap and easy so no worries there. If you like the look and style, want something between dress and casual and understand that they are just basic boots, you'll be happy with these.

Love these boots, I have been looking to purchase these for over 1 year. These boots are great! The break-in time is quick on these and I conditioned them with leather honey and the boots have a rugged, distressed look to them and they look great. They are comfortable, but you may want to purchase some insoles if ultimate comfort is your thing. For the price, you can't beat these. I like in an urban environment and I love the fact that I can beat these to hell and give 'em a quick condition from time to time. Buy now and thank me later.

I never ever leave reviews, however I am so inclined to now.. I wear boots every single day and I mean everyday. I keep the expensive stuff for when it's time to dress up. These boots are not only stylish, comfortable, but they're durable. Ive worn these every single day for a year now, in the rain and snow to the heat of nevada in the summer and just now have the laces started to rip and the sole to separate. I WILL buy another pear and keep the pair I have now for riding the dirt bike. Top notch, I really am impressed. SUPER comfy and the vibram sole is worth it.

I have wanted these for quite a while I simply couldn't justify spending the money on them as I didn't need them. Luckily,I ruined my only pair of brown shoes and these came down in price so I got them. Package came real fast for free (thanks Amazon!). As soon as opened it up though I saw scratched up leather on the side of the boot. Although it wasn't horrible to the point of no return (I'll try to include pic) I think some leather conditioner would have fixed that no problem, but stlill not something you want from anything new. Now after giving them a good look over I'd say although they do look like the picture I didn't find them to be nearly as attractive in person. They looked nice but...."cheap" I guess is the best word to describe them. Not sure if its b/c the large size or maybe the leather, IDK. One of the first things you'll think is that these will not last long no way. The thin layer of rubber on the bottom will obviously wear very fast. I found the sizing to be on point with the exception of width which I found to be a bit too narrow for me. However I do have a bit of a wide foot as well so I think the sizing is just fine. I usually wear 11 or 11 1/2 but when it comes to shoes I choose the 11 1/2, which is what I went with here. With a tight fit like that and the fact that I knew they wouldn't stand up to what I needed them for I decided to return them. All in all, I'd say for the price they are a decent bargain and do look good(not great) but only if your gonna use them sparingly. I think its a better idea to spend a bit more for a better pair. I would recommend these if you are on a budget and won't wear them all that much, otherwise these may not be for you.

For casual-to-office wear, these shoes are perfect. They are not "dressy" or formal shoes. The shoes are fairly comfortable and are a good width for average to narrow feet. I would not get them if you have wide feet. They do run long, so I ordered the size 9 rather than my normal 9.5 and am glad I did. My big toe is about an inch from the end of the shoe, but the toe of the shoe narrows, so I would not want my foot any further forward in the shoe. As it is, the shoes fit fine. The only reason I did not give the shoes five stars is that the heel of the insole could use a little more cushioning. I still do not know whether I'll add some extra insole cushioning, but the buyer should be aware if they are planning on standing for long periods of time.

I purchased a pair of Charcoal Grey Hamiltons. Size 9D. They are the cleanest, sexiest, classiest pair of shoes I have ever seen or owned. They drip with character. The dark tone of the grey toe cap fading into the warmer grey of the upper and vamp, to darken again at the heal. The highlighted thread of the welting and the foxing. The light brown color of the sole running front to back, contrasting the desaturated leather, but also subtly emphasizing the warmth in the grey of the upper mark this shoe as the choice of a man that perceives depth and character in the world around him; a man who sees a story where others see a thing.

This is a great looking and feeling shoe! I read lots of reviews and as they stated, these shoes do run about one size too large. I wear a 12 in most dress shoes and a 13 in many casuals. I had to order an 11 on this shoe, but it fits great.
