Are these ripe?
I purchased a second box thinking the first box was just a bad batch. But the second box is worse. Most of the fruit is not edible. The pods are small and mostly broken, the fruit is shriveled up and impossible to separate from its vines. Some don't have much fruit at all. Wasted money. Bad time of year?

Absolutely loved these! They are so sweet

Damaged, dried, and moldy
I ordered these about 6 months ago and they were great. This round, I ordered one, the package arrived damaged and all pods were crushed and dried out. This was a shipping issue as the box of tamarind was sent in a packing bag not a box. Amazon replaced them and the second was moldy. Giving 3 stars instead of 1 as the first time we ordered, they were good and sweet, as described, but the issues w the last 2 have lost my business. Will not be ordering these again.
