10 Large Kids Rock Climbing Holds. Bolt ons Without Hardware.

Although a few of the rocks needed bolt hole counter sinks re-drilled to make washers fit and make them a standard depth. They look and feel like rock. They are a good addition to my climbing wall. I wish I would have purchased a larger number oh them to reduce cost. I would suggest the larger count for any wall.

Honest review : so this is a tough one... i have a home climbing wall with 200+ holds, been climbing weekly for years. I purchased these holds for the price, said sure let me give them a try for the price if they are not plastic, cant go wrong.Cons: so it arrived in a usps flat rate ship bag, no protection at all, it was all just thrown in loose in the bag. Inside the bag the holds were damp. Now unsure if this occured in shipping or not, the paper included in the bag from the manufacturer was unreadable and soaking wet. Sandy...weird.... so unsure if this is extra material from production or if because they shipped them loose in a bag, all the jossling and rubbing caused small pieces to come off but there is a lot of it. Smell, now i have made my own fiberglass resin holds before and regretted it because of the toxic figerblass smell, those holds reeked for a long time. This has a similar yet not as potent smell. Again not as bad but noticeable. There is also not a noticable washer installed on the hold, this is standard so not reeing it raises concern of cracking etc long term.Pros - price, these are cheap for non plastic holds. Texture, after washing off the sand, these have a real rock feel which is cool. Attractive look. Size, they are around a pool ball size, all are “Easy” to grab holds, each are kids/easy to grip which isnt a bad thing, even the best of us want some easy holds here and there.So conclusion. I gave it 3 stars because in buying all of my other holds, the manufacuter treated their product as a quality item, There were a ton of cons above that honestly i havent encountered with other hold purchases. Now would i recomend people buy it? Honestly yea, if its a kids wall, definetly go for it, for a home based wall the holds are a giant black hole for money so a decent cheap pack will always be a good addition.

I'm not a rock climber, but I have a homemade rack with a horizontal ladder that I use for pullups and hanging traverses. The rack has 2×6 boards running lengthwise for the bars. I decided to add climbing holds to train my grip strength and allow for using a combination of bar and rock holds for traversing. The holds are perfect for my needs. I've used them for almost a year and they are still solid as the day I put them up.Keep in mind I only hang from my hands, no climbing with foot holds, and my feet are never more than a foot off the ground so very little risk. For my purposes, they are great.

Great service, affordable holds and great feeling holds! Smelly at first, but after leaving outside for a few days, the smell is totally gone.

Switched out the plastic holds on my kids playset with these.
