Canada

Lots of fun and especially interesting to read as Canada has shown how great they are now that the U.S. is in a mess. I hope Mike Myers is proud of Canada’s leadership.

Besides Mike Myers being an actor and comedian he is an excellent writer. If you're looking at wanting to read about some nostalgia from days gone by in our youth in Canada by this book. Very well put together and some parts were actually quite exciting, especially the hockey games. Go Canada!

I bought this book because I'm a Canadian living in another country. Reading about my home town brought back nice memories for me. Mike's sense of Humor Comes through well and it makes it for light reading.

The book was very good but the book was a small let down. I thought Mike Myres was going to talk about stories of him as a kid but he got off topic a lot like he was talking about acting and then went to NASA. And what was really boring was how he talked about the Canadian accent and the Newfoundland accent. But the rest of the book was great the stories were great and funny and you really felt connected to the book and you can really relate to it.

I really enjoyed this memoir/tribute to Mike Myers country of origin. You learn much about Canada as well as about his life, in a way that makes me realize much to admire about both Canada and him. Highly recommend!
