2000-DLX Gibraltar Pro Foosball Table

I bought this as a surprise for my husband's birthday, and foolishly believed the description written by Amazon online, you know, the one about the european cabinetry and standing the test of time etc etc.It arrived about a month ago, and looked like it was very well packaged, and it has sat untouched waiting for my husband's birthday to roll around. When I gave it to him today, we opened it up, to find two huge cracks in the "field" (if i could upload photos I would), and whilst I realise that this could have been a shipping accident, I feel that the cheap construction and poor fabrication would not have held up to any enthusiastic use anyway. My husband's birthday is ruined and I feel totally ripped off and mislead.Not at all as described, poor quality - look elsewhere for a Foosball table

This is a pretty solid table. We did have some issues with the feet of the table. The part the foot was supposed to screw into on the leg fell out so the foot does not stay in. We had to move the table to its permanent position and set the leg on top of the foot. It does not move after we set it on, so it has been ok. Also the handles start to slide off during game play, so we need to stop and push them back on as they are rubber and there is no way to screw them on. This has been a minor issue though and does not effect game play too much. The rest of the table is solid though, and our kids love it.

This is one of the few new foosball tables that has one goalie and upward corners that is still on the market. Most new ones have a flat field and 3 goalies, which I think slows down play. In addition to the single goalie, it is easy to assemble, the feet are adjustable for leveling and the steel rods are solid. It is also very solid feeling once it is fully assembled. Myself and kids have been very happy with the play of this table.

We own Gibralter - MD 9194 (serial number). Total piece of garbage. It's simply made wrong. In 3 weeks of use the rod bearings worked loose allowing the rods to bounce around. In 5 weeks of use the plastic bearings started falling out. I've used foosball tables for 30 years, and I've never seen such a bad design. Once the bearings have worked loose, they start to bang around and enlarge the holes they are mounted to in the particle board sides. It makes no difference that the table is solid and rigid, you can't use it to play foosball. It's an expensive boat anchor.
