Easy to make and very tasty!

Mushrooms and peppers sauce and steak great combo.

I used this for making the sauce for a buttered noodle dish. At first it looked a bit gel like when being cooked but it eventually cooked down into a nice sauce. Flavors are rich, slightly salty, but definitely tastes good. Makes a good gravy for mashed potatoes too.

After all the raves about this product my hubby and I were not impressed! I made it to add a special flare to petite filets that had to be oven broiled rather than grilled on the BBQ. Even though I added red wine, a pat of butter and a cup of quartered cremini mushrooms, this sauce turned out gloppy and ordinary tasting. A .50 cent pkt of McCormick’s gravy tastes more flavorful! I’m sticking with my own homemade butter, shallots, red wine and cremini mushroom sauce.

I didn’t care for this sauce. I thought it was a little bland, and had to really spice it up. By the time I got it how I wanted it, I realized I could have just done that and not bothered with the packet. I added mushroom powder, black pepper, a little butter, onion, and garlic.

If you are used to other name brand you will find this bland

Very tasty, I am glad that I bought it. My mushroom medley got a lot of compliments.
