Use this plastic one instead of the brass one. The Brass reacts with common aluminum hose fittings and welds itself in place.

This is our second pressure regulator and we are very pleased with its performance. The only thing I would warn people about is to make sure they don't lose the inside components of the piece as it will make it inoperable. We had to replace our old one when the inside fell out and was lost but it did last us a whole year before needing to be replaced. You do want to make sure to have one of these because the water pressure can be crazy in some parks and you want to protect your RV.

Worked

This worked great for a few years reducing pressure as it should and eliminating the risk of hard water deposits gluing the unit to the spigot but there is one caveat: The quality of plastic used. Eventually under the constant water pressure this unit was under, it failed from a developed hole in the plastic body. I still give it three stars because the unit did its job when it was working.

We'll see how long it last. Also I hope the plastic doesn't weekend and crack from the Florida sun. Got the plastic one bc my cancel bread one with gauge turned into i big rusty mess
