Very cheap, one use brushes. For when you know you'll destroy any quality brush.
They're cheap brushes. That's what I expected buying these, when I bought them at $2 for 5 of them when one good brush costs $20. I got these because I wanted to experiment my forms and sizes and figure out what I did and didn't like before investing in expensive brushes, and make my mistakes and ruining cheap brushes instead of expensive. I knew I would ruin these brushes fast regardless of their quality. I used the size 8 brush for my first acrylic nail attempt. I failed but that was my fault. The brushes were hard, as if the strands were glued together and I had to rub it out of the brush. I figured that was normal for new brushes. But once I did that, the form of the brush itself disappeared and the bristles became way too soft. Again, thought that was normal. I thought once I put it in the monomer for the acrylic nails the weight of the liquid would help. Nope. I was able to get decent acrylic "beads" for the time it took to horribly create two nails with my good hand. I didn't want to ruin all 5 brushes on my first attempt so I continued with the one brush. making sure I cleaned it out after every nail. Not having done this before, I think the bristles were way too soft after doing the first 2 nails. I couldn't get any beads to form afterwards, the acrylic powder just went "into" the brush and not on the "tip" of the brush like it was supposed to. Again, my attempt was horrible, I'm sure an experienced person would have known how to use a cheap brush. If you're like me and know you're going to destroy the brushes regardless, I recommend these. But don't expect to get good nails. I did expect the brush I was using to last through one "set" of nails. So, my 3 stars is because one brush didn't even last through 2 nails. Good thing though, none of the bristles actually fell out, I used a Kiss Acrylic kit and the brush that came with that, the bristles actually fell out and stuck inside the acrylic on my nails.

Don't bother with these brushes
I cleaned and conditioned these brushes before I used them. they turned the monomer yellow brown. The #8 and the #6 brushes were junk and had to be thrown away. After I used the monomer to get all the yellow out, The other three brushes worked fine. The are stiffer than most brushes. In my opinion, they are worth what I paid for them. If you are looking for good brushes just bite the bullet and pay for a nice brush. I have been told you can't go cheap for acrylic brushes and now I have learned my lesson.

These brushes are ok. But after one use I found them to not work as good. I did everything I was suppose to ( clean them after use etc...) I didn't have to throw them out though I am still using them its just that the quality is not as good.

You get what you pay for
The picture is a bit misleading. I just received these today and I was excited but the brush sizes aren't very accurate. The biggest brush size is not at all as long as the picture says it is but the rest of the brushes are pretty accurate for the most part. I say if you want a professional brush to work with, you WILL INDEED have to spend a pretty penny. Best of Luck!

Good buy
These are good for gel and nail art, but not for acrylic polymer/monomer application. I got them because they matched my dotting tools, and I use them mostly for painting flowers onto my nails using acrylic paints (the kind you get at the craft store).

Great!
These brushes work very well and are exactly as described. Just make sure to soak them in monomer before using to get the adhesive out of the bristles.
