TDK Life On Record A12-2PK Trek Bluetooth Wireless Speaker, 2 Pack (Black)

Great pair of speakers. Putting them into stereo mode is easy and despite the low wattage they are still quite loud. I hang one on each side of my dual stroller, pair it to my phone, and play music while I run with the kids. It rained today and I wasn't worried given the weather rating.

I was so happy with these devices but now I am in a problem because one of them has a malfunction so the plug to charge doesn't work more. It brokes and I can't charge it any more. I don't know how I could use de warranty certificate because I am living outside the United States. Does Amazon have a representative office here in Bogotá, Colombia in order to obtain technical support and repair it?

I bought 4 of these speakers, 2 worked fine, 1 was spotty at first then died, the 4th was doa, the sound is ok at best, two did paid with my kindle hd, but the sound was weak, I would not recommend these speakers, 2 stars

As others have stated the charge port on these are weak, i got a pair of these and at first loved them, but the the little tab on one of them pushed right into the speaker the third time I had gone to charge it so yeah that sucks. I now have the short usb cord perm-attatched to the other one and use it to charge the batteries for both. To bad these would of been really good if they didn't have a bunk charge port, a lithium battery would of been better too. The sound on it is very good for its size even with just one, and with a pair you can easily move them around and play with stereo dynamics at different distances apart and different heights. I put on in each front pocket and after a little time you forget to tell there even there, then your just wondering around with your own theme music.

I admit a certain degree of electronics addiction whereby I absolutely need multiples of everything. Bluetooth speakers are a love of mine and I enjoy the idea of having one in every room in the house as well as a few to take with me.Originally the Trek purchase of 2 speakers was geared towards wanting to have a portable speaker with me and I liked the price of the pack of 2 when on sale. Once I learned though that 2 of them could be paired together for stereo sound I was hooked and couldn't wait to get my hands on them.The sound of 1 speaker alone is decent, not up to the quality of say my Mini Jambox but enough where you weren't hearing such low fidelity that the speaker on your phone or tablet would be better.The true beauty of the speakers is when you pair them together and place them on opposing sides of a small room or on your desk where the stereo feature really comes into play. No speaker I own currently offers such an amazing feature at such a great price. The sound really does seem to come alive when you use two Treks together.The pairing of the two speakers to function as one was not as clear as I would have liked. I consider myself pretty saavy in terms of electronics and would think that someone not as familiar would find it a bit hard to pair the speakers together.Overall though, a purchase (on sale I will add) that I am very pleased with...so much in fact that I watched for the sale to come around again so I could purchase another set.Pros:When paired the sound is impressive for such a small set of speakersSmall, solid form factor with good build qualityIncluded carabiners do come in handy for attaching to various places or bagsLimited set of buttons makes for easy functionWhen paired, turning off one speaker or adjusting volume affects both speakers which truly do function as a single unitEven after paired as a set, you can choose to use only one speakerSplash proof design does in fact work ( I dropped one in a puddle while working on my snowblower and it was fine)Cons:Charging seems to take some time..around 3-hours from what I've observedAlthough I'm sure its due to the size, playback time seems rather short at 4 horus. TDK states 8.5 hours of playback on low volume but I did't buy these to barely be able to hear them.

Awesome sound from such small speakers. Get 2 as they can sync for stereo. Remember to turnoff the slider switch under the rubber seal, not just the pushbutton, for longer battery life.

The sound quality is very good when used with 2 speakers. With just one speaker the sound's a bit flat. The Bluetooth can only be seen by my iphone. I've tried with the desktop, laptop, and Surface but none of these work. So unless you have an ios device, I don't recommend these speakers.

Being able to pair speakers and get a true stereo sound is amazing. However the battery life is horrid. For the future maybe a battery indicator in addition to better batteries would be much appreciated.
