Absolute garbage!
Figured all the bad reviews were of people who had no clue how to work these smart plugs - I was dead wrong. This is an absolute piece of junk and should not be sold on Amazon. No matter what you try and do, this POS will NOT connect to your internet. This isn’t my first “rodeo” every room in our house has multiple smart plugs, switches and bulbs so I know it’s not operator error. Definitely listen to the bad reviews, they are spot on, don’t fall for the cheap price cuz it’s anything but a steal of a deal. Just tattoo “sucker” on my forehead. Already requested a refund and will be looking for another outside smart plug that ACTUALLY works!

App is Useless therefore Product is Useless
The "AMA Home" app used to set up and manage this product is worthless. I have followed the limited instructions and routines to enable the device and it simply bombs out. There are no help tools or meaningful instructions within the app or on-line to use making it impossible to troubleshoot and resolve. I have numerous WiFi outlets and switches in my home that are compatible with Alexa and have not had issues setting them up. This is the first product I've encountered that has had such problems and offers no help. I should have taken the hint from the broken English used in the product material that this is not ready for the US market. STAY AWAYWhile I found the price-point and described functionality for this product appealing I'd suggest you save your money or spend a bit more to get something that works.

Yes, the price is enticing but as with everything in life you get what you pay for. Will not connect to 2.4ghz no matter what. Router is literally 1.5 feet from outlet...garbage.

Worthless
This product deserves Zero Stars. However, Amazon makes you put at least 1 star. The product turns on, but the app that it is suppose to use does not work (it will not connect to it,) rendering the product useless for what it was made to do.I repeat, DO NO PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT USING AMA HOME!!!!
