So nice, I had to buy twice!
I bought the Koa-EQ and fell in love with it! Tuning it is easy and really gives you pride and connection to the instrument. You can tune each key to different frequencies and notes, to fit your needs. I highly recommend pairing this awesome instrument with an effects pedal, such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08QRGVTP3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Since the kalimba has 2 microphones inside, you can play it like a cajon and get some creative percussion sounds. I loved the first one so much that I bought a second one (the MB-EQ Piano Laquer kalimba) and let me tell you folks, it's even better! The keys are positioned higher above the wood, so you're not accidentally thumping the instrument after striking a key. The thumping isn't really audible when unamplified, but when it's plugged in, your finger strikes on the wood are practically all you hear! The blue kalimba is easier to play because of this. I'm not sure if it's because I tuned it down to Bbm (which means the keys are longer) or if it's because the Mahogony wood resonates more, but the blue kalimba seems to resonate just a bit more than the Acacia Koa wood kalimba. The case for the blue MB-EQ is a bit better because it has a holder for the tuning hammer. The only thing I like more about the Acacia Koa wood is the natural look of it. I highly recommend any musician to buy the MB-EQ Piano Laquer kalimba; You won't regret it!

Beautiful sound, handy pick up, and excellent customer service
Update: The tuning hammer arrived broken, but I contacted the seller about this. They responded immediately and sent me an entirely new accessories package which included a new tuning hammer. Based on this response and my reading of other reviews (one said they sent him a full replacement for an instrument that had a crack), if you receive an instrument with any issues, I would recommend contacting Moozica to resolve them. My kalimba now sounds full and resonant. Personally, I might prefer a satin finish to the glossy one, but I have no complaints about the sound and quality of this instrument. So much so, that I have also purchased Moozica’s larger alto kalimba, and am very much looking forward to receiving it soon.Original review: Beautiful sound and craftsmanship, but the tuning hammer was broken (the striking head was broken off and missing), which means I’ll have to find other way of tuning it. The instrument arrived mostly in tune, but about half of the notes are a little sharp. The pickup is quite nice - it enables you to amplify, record, and process the sound. The body of the instrument I received is excellent - no cracks as some have reported.

Very, very nice! Read on...
I ordered this one after a set of two I'd ordered from another company and seller arrived but I was unhappy with the quality and the sound. I just couldn't get one of them right at all. Imagine my delight when this arrived, very nicely packed, and was not only beautiful physically, but had a very nice sound, even the very high notes were audible, although they are, expectedly, not as loud as the others. It was perfectly tuned. It is heavier than the one I previously ordered, and the case is very well made. I haven't tried the plug for a speaker as I have yet to get something, but I suspect it will sound superb judging by the way it sounds now. Really happy that I chose this one after many hours scouring all the ones available here on Amazon, and there are many! If you've not had good luck with some I'd suggest this one. It's a little more costly than the other one I had but this does have a nice case and speaker cords/plugs as well as better quality and sound. Very happy!

Sounds pretty
This was a Christmas gift for my 15 year old granddaughter and was such a big hit!! She hasn’t hooked it to an amplifier yet but has been playing it a lot; she also loves the beauty of the wood and finish. A winner!I do hope it is sturdy and lasts for a long time I saw a couple of reviewers said the wood split so we’ll see. She and everyone else loves it!

A decent instrument
The item arrived cracked.*** Update:They saw this review and sent me another, which was undamaged. It's a good value for the price.

Love at first everything!
I've been wanting a kalimba for years and finally took the plunge on this one. I'm stuck inside so I might as well do it now. Upon picking it up, I could tell it was well made. It has a nice weight and is very cleanly put together with a high glossy shine. The tines are solid and have a really clear sound, mine came nearly perfectly tuned! It included all the little tools needed and the carrying case is very solid with lots of padding for keeping the kalimba safe.I was able to start playing fairly easily with the notes engraved on the keys but it included stickers as well to help them be more visible.I also tested the pickup to make sure it was working. I used the included cable and adapters to plug the kalimba into my computer and it worked great, in the future when I've learned to play better I'll be able to record songs with my PC :D

Nice Wood
NOT easy to learn and I am a professional musician who plays piano. It's very nicely made of high quality wood and metal parts. The best part of this model is it plugs in. meaning you can make it much louder by plugging into a amp and speaker. If your a pro musician you know that a better quality amp and speaker will make an instrument sound better. This one could be used with a band or larger group of musicians because it plugs it. No need for a microphone. There is NO output volume control on the wood box (one level out). People with smaller hand may find this easier to play than those of us with big hands as the tines are close together. Standard 1/4" output jack for running to an amp/speaker combo.
