BEAUTIFUL TEAPOT WITH INFUSER - WITH OR WITHOUT THE INFUSER, THIS IS JUST PERFECT FOR ME!
The teapot arrived safely wrapped inside a box that was squished, and it was not damaged at all! It's just as pictured and described. It also fits perfectly on my hobblenail candle teapot warmer of the same green! I love to have tea with my grandchildren, one to two at a time, and visit about life and interests.

Filthy but a good kettle underneath
I am happy with this kettle. The color is nice, dragonfly detail is just as pictured. There has been no rust around the hinges of the handle as of yet, I have been using it for a few months. The coating is even, but note that the kettle does not arrive ready to use. There is a lot of leftover residue, if you rub it with your finger inside of it, it will turn black. I has to wash several times, especially because I only used water. This doesn't effect the quality of the product, BUT I am very dissatisfied with the lack of final cleaning where it was made. There is no excuse for an item to arrive with leftovers from the manufacturing process for the customer to deal with. A simple hot, sterilizing rinse is all I ever expect to need when I purchase teaware. That being said, purchase ready to deal with the dirt and odor from manufacturing. The price was low comparatively, I would have returned it if I wasn't successful with removing residue and smell. The lid fits well, I use for green and black tea, holds temperature for both well. I am split on what I recommend, but if I had to make a choice I wouldn't purchase again because of how dirty it arrives. That tells me quality control must not be a priority where it is made, I would pay a few dollars more to have a product someone took more pride in making for their customers.

Looks good, a little small
As far as cast iron teapots go, this looks pretty nice. I have seen a similar one on TV in the series "The Expanse" on Chrisjen Avasarala's desk :-) Cast iron pots do not keep the tea hot though, and this one is a little small (around 2-3 cups). I wish the tea strainer could have been a little deeper though as the pot is shallow and you have to fill it to top to get to the tea leaves. Coated smooth black from the inside, easy to clean. would recommend as I have not seen anything better or better looking on amazon.

I LOVE this teapot!
I wanted a cast iron teapot after dining at Oriental restaurants and drinking tea from the little cast-iron teapot that they give you. I wondered why their tea always tastes better then when I make it at home. Then it occurred to me that it is possibly the teapot. I was right! I came home and ordered this teapot and have been making a pot of tea for myself at least once a day. I use two tea bags of green tea and place them in the little screen holder then fill it with boiling water and let it seep for a few minutes. It is the first time I finish all of the tea, just as I do in the restaurants. This teapot is exactly as it is described in color and size. This is one of the best things I bought in a long time and I am completely happy with it. I definitely recommend this teapot!

Attractive Steeping Pot
It's attractive for what it is. If you want a pot for steeping, this is nice cast iron and attractive. However, I was under the impression from the description that it could be used on the stove to heat the water directly. You do not. You heat using a regular tea kettle (or pot or whatever) and transfer the water into this pot for brewing. Adds a step if you don't mind tea bags. If you want loose leaves, it should work well. I bought it for my wife and she just displays it. Not exactly my intention because anything on display eventually gets put away after being dust catcher for a while. But, I think it is well made and attractive. More my misunderstanding, but the ad could've been written better with some description of how it would be used.

Not bad
Looks really nice for the price you pay. The tea basket is flimsy and don't expect to last long and the paint on the tea pot is not the greatest. Obviously made in mass in China. Not sure if I would use it for tea (toxic paint) but I bought it as a decoration.

Great Quality and Design.
This is a beautiful cast iron, high quality tea pot. It is made to reach high temperatures without damaging the product. The design was also a hit among friends, we think great for a cottage that uses alternative energy sources while cooking. I would recommend this product.
