Clairefontaine - Ref 196073C - Natural Raffia Ball - 50g Ball, Synthetic Polypropylene Material - Suitable for Decoration, Wrapping Gifts & Crafting - Chocolate

I thought this would be one of those eco-friendly ribbons but to my astonishment it turned out to be a bunched-up pile of (nicely) dyed shreds. Not sure what anyone would do with that (perhaps it’s used by some for crafting?). Personally, I binned it as it’s completely useless to me. I’ve since located the eco-type ribbons for gift wrapping which I had envisaged.

Title says "natural" yet the descripton says "synthetic polypropylene". I purchased this to go on gifts that were meant to be environmentally conscious.The title misleads/is incorrect.(However the product is reasonable but not what I wanted).

The colour is nothing like the listing picture. It’s a very red brown. More burgundy than brown. And if you read the listing accurately it says this raffia is synthetic. Disappointed.

Only 25% usable. 75% are broken. Very disappointed.

We use this product for teaching children to make natural cordage, it makes incredibly strong rope easily

speedy delivery. quality item. great value for money

Like that it is biodegradable. Going to use it to brighten up the brown wrapping paper for my Christmas presents.

The raffia is great in itself . I’d give it sc5 star rating if it didn’t get so tangled up .
