I returned it because I found that I already had a copy of the book.

The book is very thorough on the subject. I advise reading it through a digital version with text to speech capability as it will be easier to enjoy and not such a "dry," read.

I used this for a class in premarital counseling and really understood this concept so throughly I started liking this subject matter and did more research into it. Fantastic and through I really learned a lot and enjoyed this aspect a great deal and very useful in understanding cohabitation and the pitfalls.

This was a good book but I’m curious regarding how the information may have changed with more updated references and surveys.

Very helpful resource for counseling couples. Provides down to earth prospective for ministering to couples and their extended family as they prepare for marriage.

I've read about 5 premarital counseling books and this was the best and most useful. In fact I pull it off my shelf every time I'm counseling couples preparing for a Godly marriage. I especially like the section about disfunctional families.

This is a good resource to start with, but it may alienate those not embracing the Christian beliefs. Like with any other book, take what works for you and leave the rest alone. The exercises are helpful - whether pre-marriage or even post-marriage.

I received exactly what I expected. The book was new and it came in the amount of time that was advertised
