Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Tempe Sun Hat - Sun Protective

I was shocked and disappointed when this hat arrived. I have not removed the tags as I am debating returning it. The pros? The fit is fine and it is floppy and won't get crushed easily. The negatives? Despite the expensive cost it is made CHEAP!! The string is PLASTIC for pity sake. I expected so much more from Coolibar particularly for $60!! It is not well made and while it may be okay for when I am gardening I surely will never be able to wear it in public. The rim is so short. I think I may have talked myself into returning it.

This hat is functional and will protect you from the sun. The brim is wide enough and the hat is light so it does not weigh down on your head. There is a strap inside that helps tighten it to fit your head circumference.However, it is not a very well made hat and after one use (2 weeks in hot and humid rainforest but did not get hat wet during brief torrential showers) - it looks worn and tired. The chin strap is made of cheap plastic-like material (easy enough to replace with leather that you buy yourself). The biggest con were the seams that connects the hat together (pictured) - it is aesthetically ugly, and the fraying from the hat will also irritate bare skin and even poke through clothing - as it did when I hung the hat around my neck and the hat brim was laying flat on my back. I will definitely not repurchase but it does check the box on lightweight hat, packable, wide enough brim, and chinstrap. Probably also a tad expensive for the quality. (hat is made in china)

Love this hat! I received the Coolibar hat the day before I left for a vacation to Mexico. It was perfect. Super stylish around the resort and beach. Shielded the sun great. I would definitely recommend!

Was excited to receive hat today, but was disappointed that it was shipped folded in a bag. Because of that that brim is distorted several places and looks nothing like the picture despite trying to reshape by steaming. Wouldn't be so bad except one of the crease that I can't straighten hangs over my left eye.

Beautiful, well made hat to protect my skin, I have several items from Coolibar and I love them all. I get the protection I need while looking stylish. So glad I found this company

I love this hat. I do. But, I can't wear it for long before it gives me a headache. I'm working on stretching the interior band.

This hat provides excellent coverage and stays put. It’s great looking too. I wore it almost every day last summer and it still looks great. I just bought the same hat for my mom.

Love my hat!! Great for the boat and on the water! I’ve been looking for this type of hat for A LONG time and I love it! We bought ours for when we’re on the sailboat, and it was perfect for keeping cool and the sun off my face. It’s made well and the strap kept the hat on my head when it got windy. I'm very picky when it comes to hats, and I couldn't be happier with this one!
