A gleaming stainless steel kettle is a classic that looks right in both traditional and today's popular industrial-style home kitchens. All Cuisinart kettles have convenient whistles to signal that water is boiling.

Wonderful color....but....
OMG, the color is so rich, absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the strange handle attached to opening it could be dangerous for kids when handle is up sprout is open, when handle is down sprout is closed, so while you are walking with kettle let's say to pour hot water for some tea....if you are not careful boiling hot water could splash on you because the sprout is open....could present a problem for someone.....as for me I got use to it...but wish the sprout part had a more traditional way of opening...see photos.

Pretty and fun but very hot handle
I wanted to love this tea kettle. I got it to match our new backsplash. What I love about it: It has a very large bottom, so the water heats very quickly. It looks great. What we don't love: The handle in the "up" position opens the spout. The handle in the "side" position closes the spout. So, while it is on the burner, the handle is in the side position, which makes the handle very hot. So hot, that we have to use a pot holder orsilicone device to lift the kettle. We have a gas burner. It's possible that this wouldn't happen with an electric stove, but I'm not sure. We'vetried just slating the handle to the side just a bit, but it slips all the way down. On the picture you will see the yellow piece on the handle, but the sides of the handle are metal and exposed, so they become very hot, and so does the yellow area, although not quite as hot. We are dealing with it but would not buy it again.

Didn't hold up very well.
Just PurchasedThis kettle is as beautiful as it is functional. It has a unique design that makes it ergonomic even when it is full. We get lots of comments about how great it looks on our stove.Revised ReviewIt's about 5 months since we bought this kettle. It still looks good but the inside is getting rusty. We need to replace it already. Very disappointed because we liked the look.

Cool Tea Kettle
Just got the kettle, and it's pretty close to the color in the picture (copperish w/orange handle) and I was hoping it would be. It matches my kitchen perfectly and adds to my color scheme. I thought the handle in the picture looked a bit flimsy however it seems to be a well made and sturdy. I was also a bit concerned about the handle getting too hot (reading the other reviews) however, never got too hot to handle for me. I boiled some water and had a cup of tea... works perfectly.

Beautiful, Functional, and Worth EVERY Cent!
This was a perfect addition to my kitchen, and to top it all off, it's a beautiful orange, which is unique and which I love. The capacity on this kettle is outstanding, and I use it in my French press and have enough remaining to make pitchers of iced tea as well. Although I had a kettle that could still heat water, the "plug" used to create the whistle broke, and I frequently forgot I was in the process of boiling water. The structure of the Riwendell ensures that this will not be an issue moving forward, and the fact that raising the handle opens the spout means that one-handed operation is quite easy.I do think, however, that if you have challenges with upper body strength, you may need to limit the amount of water you heat at any given time, as when completely full it can be quite heavy. That notwithstanding, this is an excellent purchase and one I am thrilled I made.

Rusty in nothing flat
It's a beautiful kettle, but after only two and a half months, it's got a huge, deep rust spot on the INSIDE of the kettle. What good is a tea kettle that can't hold water without rusting?

Four Stars
Gave this tea kettle to my daughter for Christmas. She thought it was great. Now, after 3 months of use it is rusting on the inside. She does not let water set in it.
